This garbage school doesn't have any syllabuses online for the entire Women and Gender Studies Department. Not one of the 20 (mostly online) classes has one available. Calling it a Department is also misleading as it has zero professors and only two instructors.

As for Zach and "all [his] friends" you're chasing an impossible goal. The only way to prevent organized opposition would have been to keep all this secret.

The documentary is presumably either Transhood or Growing Up Trans. The latter is actually from 2015 (as it immediately says on screen) but PBS posted it for viewing to their YouTube account in December 2020. It being from 2015 would help explain why there was no organized opposition depicted as definitely existed by 2020 even though Zach is erasing it from his mind that he "fought" against it back then.
