It's not the pregnancy hormones, it's the HLA antibodies from women who have ever been pregnant that can kill people. And that's only via whole blood or plasma. The blood gets separated in a lab to be used for different medical indications- the rest of childbearing age women's blood is useful.

The hormones you're exposed to from a blood transfusion are negligible, that's why they don't have to match your sex with the donor's sex, and why you don't see NICU infants sprouting a beard and massive guns after having to receive a fresh bag every weekend for anemia of prematurity.

Also, a transfusion reaction can happen to anyone, even if the blood is screened for antibodies and the patient has never had a reaction before.

There are a ton of very rare blood group antibodies that are not routinely matched for donation. It's probable that at least a few people reading this (including yours truly, owner of a rare Diego antigen) have some crazy rare blood type gene.

In addition, the more times you receive blood, the more likely you are to develop weird alloantibodies, which can cause allergic type reactions in patients who haven't ever had a reaction before. Antibodies present in donor blood can also cause a reaction in the recipient. In the United States, anyway, a transfusion reaction, even one as minir as a fever and rigors/chills, prompts an immediate and in-depth investigation into possible causes. This is why blood and blood products are extensively tracked. If a recipient has a reaction, the lab can immediately pull all of the blood they've donated to make sure another patient doesn't have the same problem.

There are other reactions that can happen from the transfusion itself, like volume overload resulting in lung injury.

Very good points. The handmaiden phenomenon seems to be a product of both female socialisation, and as a tactic to appease the crazy man/defence mechanism. Self-conscious they'll be called an evil witch, the legit UK slogan for trans allies was #bekind, where women are expected to be pleasant to men, smile etc.

The other is women deploying code talk to be able to make the mentally ill man go away. Tell them they're stunning, brave and SO PRETTY in a way that is completely disingenuous, in a way that the autists don't pick up on. I'm not sure that's it. There's definitely a lot of peer pressure to fuck TIFs within the gay community and a lot of gays will get on their soapbox about validating how some men have pussies. What I mean about passing is that it's pretty socially acceptable to reject women that look and act like women but say they're men. The gays will easily fold on a lot of things, but they tend to have more of a backbone when it comes to sexual attraction. However when you have a woman on T, it doesn't take a lot of effort to pass and that's where you start to see more of the social push to fuck them or face ostracization. Personally I think it's largely the same women who have always fetishized homosexuality and have consoomed yaoi and fanfiction their entire lives going one step further to co-opt the gays by attempting to become one themselves and forcing themselves onto men who don't want them. A vagina isn't just the absence of a penis, it's a whole muscled organ in itself. Homologous organs doesn't mean that one turns into the other.
