That's reasonable enough. Technically it's not news that the West killed the negotiations. Ukrainian journalists cited sources close to Zelensky that confirmed that Boris killed the negotiations (may 2022). Still, nice to have a confirmation from a third party.

(As funny as it is, newly acquired states are majority Russian, so they will not go away in this case. And if Belarus is absorbed into Russia, they will also stay in.) Nor will Russian nuclear arsenal shrink, at least not right away? And i doubt Russia will become less aggressive after something like this happens. Yes, and you're correct with that, but I'm stating that the Russian government is legally the successor of the Soviet Union so therefore they took the Soviet Union's debts, took over all the Soviet embassies, are legally bound to nuclear treaties signed by the USSR during the Cold War period, and took over the Soviet Union's Seat in the Security Council on the United Nations.
You are correct that the Germans did kill millions of Ukrainians. In fact, the Nazis threw Bandera into prison even though he offered their services to them and that is when things became desperate that they released them and made them their auxiliaries. I was more focusing on the modern Ukrainian lens and it seemed that they saw Nazi oppression as a lesser evil to the Holodomor and Soviet occupation and probably as heroes thanks to a vocal minority of far-right groups. Hence, a good portion of Ukrainians highly revere them that they put up statues of collaborators like Bandera who established the Ukrainian Insurgent Army with the basis of being Anti-Russian, while ignoring the Nazi massacres on the Ukrainian populace.

The Russian invasion was entirely based on decommunization and its Casus Belli was to spite Lenin and the Bolsheviks for creating Ukraine, but then the Russians rename back the main street in Mariupol back to Lenina Street (since it's a tradition in Russia to have all your main streets be named after Lenin, even the main street of Yekaterinburg, the city where the Romanov family got shot) once they captured the city. Now there are calls to rename Bakhmut Artyomovsk even though Bakhmut was the name of the city during Imperial Russia and was the city's first name. The fact that Russia juggles between admiration of the Soviet Union and the Empire despite them being contradictory to each other is crazy.
