I actually did read BAM. I remember maybe 4 passages-something about how BAP wasn’t entranced by any religion, Nietzche on the Aztecs and conquistadors, BAP’s uncertainty about history, and how American suburbs limit and stymie male adventurism.

What makes BAP popular is well he’s a higher brow Andrew Tate. His “vision” is traveling the world, sacking cities, having a harem of beautiful women, and locking arms with your bros as you burn down the stultifying and matriarchal edifice called civilization. BAP also doesn’t explicitly antagonize say Christianity(though A LOT) of his supporters do. And he’s willing to disrespect most moral platitudes. Especially when it comes to sexual relations. This has ensured he doesn’t alienate any substantial potential audience. Atheist anime fans and disaffected religious conservatives alike will take what they want from him(though he clearly supports the former).

This has won him a very large and devotedly loyal following-from Amarnite “I want to rape 14 year olds(though anime girls)” to “billions must die”-usually implied to be blacks and non Whites but with a sort of winking pseudo irony(as in they mean it, but they say it in such a way they can say they don’t if confronted, or if told they don’t-say they do), and many others besides. (It’s why any documentary or claim of connection to Zionist Jews won’t somehow diminish his credibility-BAP speaks to deeper and broader frustrations than just White displacement).

It’s a large circle with lots of orbiters having their own orbit. Probably the least effected by banning sprees of right wing Twitter. Nick Fuentes’ beef with BAP is probably at least partially about ideology, but also probably jealousy. As BAP has a much more successful online presence than Nick does.
