Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Sure just go to an anime convention, but make sure you pick one that allows confirmed sex molesters to run a panel and meet fans.

Most people threw a few bucks at this thing to make SJWs and fat people on Twitter mad. They got what they paid for. And yeah I'd buy some more bait from you, but it's too weak to use for fishing. lol

Sean Schemmel was on twitch tonight. With the news of Vic's loss at SCOTX I expected him to talk about it. Had his stream paused but occasionally checked chat to see what the current topic was. Eventually chat swung around to cancel culture.

Don't know what to make of this.

"We have to ask ourselves, are we a society that allows the mob to rule and that there's no redemption. Or that once the mob cancels you, you should just die in the street." [Chatter disagrees with him] "You're basically looking at a society where the public gets to determine, unfairly, who gets to live or die."

"If you study history... a mob ruling is a bad thing."

"What I don't like, is how it gets aired, and it should really go down like this: You got a victims, victim calls the police, they call lawyers, it's not in public. And then the victim and the person who's being accused deal with it with the legal system, hopefully in the victim's favor. And then that person goes to jail, serve their time... then they have their life back."

This from a man who danced on the grave of Vic's voice acting career when he got canceled.

If you've seen my opinions on the current Rekieta trashfire, the one thing that rustles my jimmies is hypocrisy.

Here, I don't know if Schemmel really believes cancel culture is bad, but his animus towards Vic made him abandon those principles, or if he stands and claps for cancel culture, but pays lip service to disliking it for the chat.

Raw 1080p video was almost 500MB, had to encode it down to 540p for it to upload successfully.

My guess is this jackass thinks he could be next after he saw what happened to Vic and Flynn. He knows he's not popular with the crowd in power and doesn't want to be the next victim of a social media Ides of March style knife party.

Yeah any of those guys and not the guy that just got confirmed in court to be a a sex molester who molested his co-workers lmao.
I didn't realize sabat got convicted in court, so when and how long will he be in jail since we know sexual molestation is a criminal offense that gets you put in jail?

That's the thing these people who continuously preach never realize, they are always next but in this case sean seems to be self-aware or maybe afraid of this fact that everyone seems to always overlook. You're never woke enough, you can never appease the mob enough, you're never gay enough, you're never black enough, etc. It's just a matter of time til you're next.

Apparently dub VAs were announced for G-Witch, which got some VAs on Twitter mad that a white woman was casted for the main character Suletta Mercury. Because they claim Suletta is Arabic or something.

This guy is actually casted as Guel's brother on the show, which is probably why he's shittalking by allusion else he'll get in trouble at work.

This lady, perhaps best known for being casted as popular My Hero Academia character Mirko on the basis of skin color, is much more explicit on her displeasure ("MENA" apparently means "Middle East and North Africa", by the way). And these tweets are only on archive because she apparently deleted her Twitter account within the days since, probably out of embarrassment when she got backlash for this.
Cross thread quote as found someone had archived the relevant tweets already, but VAs who voice Japanese characters are now trying to cancel Funi- er Crunchyroll over casting VAs in roles that don't match their race.

The lack of self-awareness is astounding.

You must be new here because the only confirmed molesters were Illich Guardiola who dated Rial before having a Vegas shotgun wedding with a 16 year old, and Daman who forced his under age victim into silence.

You know, things that have records in the system????

Nah, Dyn is an oldfag abbo who likes to be contrarian, when he's run out of petrol to huff. Ignore him.

No, Vic Migona admitted in the depositions that he molested a coworker by pushing her down on a bed and kissing her against her will, I think her name was Monica something, honestly idk why he even filed a lawsuit in the first place if he didn't plan to lie about it in the deposition and say he never touched her but I guess he just got bad legal advice or something.

Again. Incorrect, and i will do your fucking work for you from the Deposition in on portions 209-211, you ready? Read it with me:
Q. (BY MR. LEMOINE) I'll show you what I've premarked as Exhibit 20. I'll represent to you that what Exhibit 20 is, it's a -- what's called written discovery, and it's an interrogatory where each side gets to ask the other side certain questions. And these are questions that your attorneys asked --
A. Okay.
Q. --ofMs.Rial. AndwhatIwanttodoisgo through one of her -- some of her answers and get your comments. So I want to start on page 5 of Exhibit 20.
A. Yes, sir.
Q. Interrogatory number four. Are you with me?
A. Yes, sir.
Q. Okay. Interrogatory number four has a request about, at some point in time which you grabbed or kissed Mrs. Rial in a hotel room in the mid 2000s.
As we sit here right now before reading the response, do you have any recollection of any type of
interaction in your hotel room with Ms. Rial where you kissed her?
A. No, sir.
Q. Okay. All right. So if you look at the first bullet point, it says, Plaintiff grabbed and kissed Defendant without Defendant's consent on Sunday, November 4, 2017, while --
A. 2007.
Q. I'm sorry, 2007 -- while Plaintiff and Defendant were both attending Izumicon, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Any recollection of that?
A. No, sir. That was 12 years ago.
Q. If you turn to page 6. The first bullet point at the top of page 6 says, Plaintiff played videos promised, while Defendant stood to watch video. The Plaintiff soon grabbed the Defendant by the upper arms and began aggressively kissing Defendant. Defendant attempted to resist, but Plaintiff physically restrained Defendant, pushed Defendant back towards -- backward toward the bed. Plaintiff climbed on top of Defendant and held her down as he continued to aggressively kiss Defendant.
Did that happen?
A. No, sir.
Q. And you're sure that didn't happen?
A. Yes, sir.
Q. Second bullet point on page 6, Plaintiff continued in this fashion for several minutes, despite Defendant's --
A. Several minutes.
MR. LEMOINE: Object, nonresponsive.
A. What was Ms. Rial doing at this time?
Q. (BY MR. LEMOINE) Let me get the question out.
A. Sorry, I apologize. I apologize. This is the first I read this. I'm sorry. I apologize.
Q. Let me start over at the bullet point. Plaintiff continued in this fashion for several minutes, despite Defendant's fear and shock, until Ms. Dahlin knock -- Mr. Dahlin knocked on the Plaintiff's hotel door. Plaintiff left Defendant on the bed and hurriedly answered the door. Mr. Dahlin inquired whether the Defendant was okay, clearly noticing the stress. Defendant, however, was too shocked and afraid to admit what had occurred.
You dispute that, right?
A. I don't recall that at all.

Q. Now, prior to today, have you seen that description from Ms. Rial in -- in any --
A. I'm sorry, say that again, sir.
Q. Prior to today, have you seen or heard that description from Ms. Rial online or anywhere?
A. I -- I know of the story that she posted online back when she originally posted it. But I -- I -- there are more details here than there were in her original story. Like, I don't believe -- on the online story, she didn't say anything about when or where, she didn't say anything about Stan Dahlin, she didn't say anything about putting her on the phone. By the way, I -- well, I -- I just don't even understand a lot of it, so --
Q. Have you ever grabbed Mrs. Rial's hair -- Ms. Rial's hair and pulled it back and whispered in her ears before?
A. Whispered what?
Q. I don't know.
A. Neither do I.

Care to run that shit again?

Ron still has his whole life ahead of him and a land whale to never wed. Give him time, he'll break (out the remote) eventually.
I don't advocate domestic violence, but I can't feel sorry for Monica if that happens.

Sean's only real saving grace is that he was at least honest about his dislike towards Vic, but that ain't gonna make him even remotely redeemable. The moment he's next on the chopping block imma laugh because this sped should have understood that these fuckers target anyone that ain't part of the clique and even then they still will go after their own if they show an ounce of wrong think. If they can replace Broly they can replace Goku and Sean doesn't have as loyal of a fanbase as Vic does so.........

He's fucked if his day of reckoning ever happens.
