Paraphrasing, so forgive me, but what she said was essentially this: some women are so traumatised by abuse that they can't feel safe if they're forced to share the same space with a male body, regardless of how the person with that body claims to identify. She then compounded the error by saying that, while she supports trans people and respects their identity, a male body is always a male body.
