They should look up the Thule mummies/Qilakitsoq mummies from Greenland. There was a 4 yr old boy who seems to have had Down's syndrome but no one is sure if they killed him for having a disability or if the common heart issues of DS got to him.
There's also a 6 month old who was buried alive bc his mom died and if no one could care for the kid, it was considered more ethical to kill it. The baby is preserved very well but kind of creepy looking bc he has no eyes.
There is a theory that the mummies were wrapped up in animal skins so that they could hunt in the afterlife. Needless to say, most redditors couldn't even survive that afterlife, let alone that harsh way of life.
