I agree that people being mean to you on the internet isn't the same as being bullied, but neither is people playing a video game based on the IP of someone that doesn't enable your delusions of gender! It makes sense that he's pushing that narrative, though - the more trannies that feel justified in threatening to 41% over something as inoffensive as other people playing a video game despite their incessant ree-ing, the more hysterical troons he'll be able to find to fill out his books with.

Remember folks, transgenderism has an appallingly high suicide rate, but we can't maintain that standard of excellence unless we all do our part.

This account might be worth keeping an eye on since I've been seeing them almost non-stop ragging on anybody who's even neutral on buying the game or Rowling in general. The wizarding news link leads to a fan site with articles back in the 2000s (a shitty site at that), but it seems that after 2020 they just report on "the demise of Rowling's legacy."

This one actually surprised me as someone who was around during old-school HP fandom. HPANA isn’t just a random on Twitter, they were one of THE main Harry Potter fansites way back. It was a news aggregator. Wiki says they were the first fansite Rowling interacted with and helped to launch Pottermore. i knew some sites like MuggleNet had done a sort of wishy washy “we will no longer cover JK Rowling but please keep giving us the sweet Harry Potter ad revenue” thing but I didn’t know a) this site was still around b) they had gone full nuclear. After reading this retarted article Games Media Has Failed The Hogwarts Legacy Test I noticed that the IGN reviewer she is seething about is actually Travis from the Bitcast podcast (a small time podcast that I discovered because one lawtuber from the amber/depp saga is a co-host on it), turns out that he only reviewed it because everyone else in IGN were too scared to do it.
