To parrot others, I knew it would never be ruled a suicide and it's unfortunate that the txt messages between Archie and his mother were not reviewed, but I am pleased at the amout of information and evidence that was released showing the contradictory nature of Hollies original story. This all definitely paints her in a terrible light and confirms that the medical personal did the very best that they could/made the best judgment and that Archie was pretty much dead the entire time/fully dependent on machines. Its shows a very different side to Hollies naritive that Archies was only on "a few medications and vitamins" to remain stable and not as reliant on the machines and medical equipment as she would have us to believe.

Why isn't the noose or cord taken by police as a piece of evidence? Why is there a question as to what the ligature is? Surely police would have picked up the suspected guilty item? Could someone in the household tried to have hidden it? I know reporting guidelines have already been discussed but it just doesn't sit right with me that the object in question was not even confirmed by the coroner. I would also like to know how HD/LP and also the neighbors found the lad as there were some conflicting early accounts shared to the public if I remember correctly.

It does confirm a longstanding suspicion that Archie's behavioural and relational issues were much more severe than anyone previously let on. Archie was known to be reckless and impulsive. We will not know what happened in Archie's head between Archie showing his mother the rabbit and hanging over the staircase but I imagine Mum told him to go away and he felt a bit dejected in that moment.
"What would really get back at mum and get her attention?" + viewing and partaking in depression content online + reckless and impulsive and possibly lower than average IQ for his age = bright idea. Otherwise, not much has been reported today that really adds or detracts from some of the more watertight discussions already had on here.

Being excluded three times in your first year of secondary school within the first couple of terms is pretty shocking. Exclusion is a last resort after continued behavioural problems or if severe violence/defiance/drug use. For example, refusing instructions from a senior leader/head teacher (they ask you to come to their office to speak and you shout, swear, argue, usually means the whole class then has to be removed and the kid restrained and carried out), vaping/smoking/drinking alcohol or assaulting another pupil/teacher. It's sad it's happened three times to such a young lad. Often you see this happen with year 9-10s, kid has to have a lot of shit going on at home to behave that way in year 7.
