Got Panoptes V 1.2 finalised and committed in the last hour.

I am running it for what few hours remain on my work shift on my workstation in parallel with V 1.1 on my dedicated mini-PC logger to ensure data log integrity in case an unexpected error crops up. This update will add more data to help contextualise the conversations by giving us single level reply-threading. If all goes well, I will update the code on the active logger tomorrow some time before Nose starts his day stream for the Murdaugh Trial. This should fall in the middle of my work shift (Yay double-shifts!), and I will remote in to my logger and update the code on a break if nothing breaks.

At this point, I can think of very little to add in terms of RAW data value past V 1.3, so I will be turning to improving the UX. Once that is done, I might be ready to package it up as an app or something. Who knows...

If anyone has any suggestions on features/data collection they would like to see implemented in the next iteration, I will entertain suggestions. Priority will be given to those feature suggestions that improve data function or UX (e.g. formatting for further post-processing or automatic image DL) over bobs and knobs with mostly comedic value (e.g. a 'FAGGOT' counter). While not immune to humour, I am an essential utilitarian at heart.


As a final note, it seems that the mainstays of the LOCALS community have fractured into smaller on FB, DISCORD, and the like for more private discussions. Any leads on these, their locations, URLs, and organisers would be appreciated. Just point me in a direction, and I can take it from there...

This is reminiscent of what happened last year, when Nick played dumb about why Ralph had dropped out of Elijah and Sydney's podcast. His façade was destroyed at that time when a stupid fat drunkard let slip that Nick had already agreed to secretly walk out, Jerry Springer style, to confront Ralph. The difference is that in a post-Hedonism II environment, it's Nick ducking out from engaging with Ralph rather than the opposite.

Before Nick decided it would be a good career move to pull a complete 180 on his public persona and go full mask off coomer he was pretty much untouchable to personal attacks in debates, as he had none of the embarrassing shit other "e-celebs" have and was generally thought of quite highly and well respected, yeah theres been rumors about Drex and our wife for a long time but until recently no one took that seriously and it was basically just shit talk that Nick could easily laugh off knowing the audience was mainly on his side.
But now theres a whole mess of degenerate shit, and he has genuine detractors, and since he's never been subject to the sort of shit talk most people in the Sektur get hardened to pretty quickly, he's not built up any of the usual defenses people have, and you can see when he genuinely gets upset when shit gets personal, despite his protests.
That shit is blood in the water to the audience this Sektur attracts, just another reason why I doubt we'll ever see Nick risk public confrontations again, especially with someone like the Gunt, who has both no sense of shame or embarrassment, post-Merge Sonichu Daemon Ralph feeds off negative attention, and knows how to go straight for the jugular in a slap fight.
