I'll go back and forth with anyone who wishes to talk about my little experience, if anyone wants to have that discussion. I'm doing this so people can get my side of things. From one lolcow to anouther, I'm sorry about what you had to go through. Looking back, it should have been clear to anyone that Phag is... an utter phaggot.

Also anouther thing: Kiwis do tend to treat lolcows with respect if they don't ACT like lolcows on the forums. Don't be like Connor and spegethi your life story, and you'll be fine.

The word interesting may be not quite the right one, but I do have some anecdotes to share about my time with Phag. Good and bad. It wasnt even just good and bad, but there were some strange quirks even in the early days. Just things that should have been red flags to me, but for some reason were not identified at the time.

Skype calls for 2 hours minimum, with North Korean music playing in the background and the occasional burst of conversation interspersed. I think I did complain about it one time, but was told that "David and I used to do this all the time" and that squashed my protest. I didn't like it all that much and pretty much dreaded Skype calls with Phag unless I had something to talk about that was worthwhile. He had a way of making you feel both good and bad with his conversation, which might sound a bit weird. I loved reading the "Wisdom of Autphag" and still consider the writing to be a masterpiece of outsider art and schizo writing. Beyond that, there were a lot of insults directed at me, even when we were in IRC channels and Skype groups with complete strangers. It was a bit embarrasing for me.

Yes, but that was mostly to have a bit of fun. I wanted to see if Chris would react to the Great Beast 666 and also I wanted to play a role with some depth, like I used to do. It was a big thing of mine before I adopted Negi Springfield as an internet persona.

Autistic magic is not real, sadly for all the autists out there. The real deal is pretty much spiritual development through disciplined practice, as found in the A.'. A.'. Order and the Ordo Templi Orientis. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

The cyanide poisoning was a bit of an odd one, because I don't know if that was ever a thing. I hope not. I think Phag was trying to kill himself and got busted somehow. Details are not forthcoming, but I imagine a lot. He's not stupid, but he does act dumb regularly - and as often as he does creuly.

Ok, I have one for you. Was Autphag ever forthcoming about his spying on your e-mail accounts, and subsequently gossiping about it with the rest of his inner circle?

I'll help out. I was part of and still am a part of Encyclopedia Dramatica. I edit articles and have some knowledge of wiki mark-up. I'll be able to contribute when I'm not working, which is actually a substantial amount of time even though I am working a lot. Count me in.

Alright thank you. I just wanted to let you know I have no harsh feelings towards you. It was really about getting a good Autphag article up and I thought you'd know about his chan board days pretty well.

That was a huge failure, I am sorry to say. Nothing about it is remotely notable, except that it went badly. Spergchan was nothing and almost every post was people trolling it. We had little content that wasn't self congratulatory. It sucked.

Hey Negi! Long time no see!
It's laudable that you can reflect objectively on something like that. What would you say was the core problem that lead to the failure? I realize it was a number of things, but if you had to name one specific thing that singlehandedly killed it?

Edit: It's also long overdue, but I wanted to congratulate you on your breakaway from Aut. I remember you talking to us on Skype about struggling with independence and this is a big step forward. Mazel Tov, and best of luck!

Honestly from the beginning, my thoughts on spergchan were "Why not just go to Oddplanet if you want to sperg with spergs?"

Again I'm really sorry you had to experiance this with someone you cared about. It's happened to me once before (hell even recently, although not at this severity) and it sucks. From one 'cow to another, I hope you get through this.

It was pretty much Phag and his ego that killed Spergchan. It never had a chance. Not with him in any kind of position to use/abuse it.
