Current Pozzload Meter:

British empire diversity: believable for some tokens, but a little too Diverse(tm). They have a Uganda character who is very believable historically and fits the universe well enough because of Bri'ish empire status. The Pajeets are believable too but there's not enough white wizards to be reflective of the time period. Status: Mild Pozzed.

Gendering: I think the voice actors were just lazy and didn't want to record two transcripts of the same thing. It's mildly uncomfortable but isn't in your face except in weird dialogue. It makes your character feel left out and I'm losing immersion from this. Status: Very Pozzed

Trannies: 1 too many. Status: Very Pozzed

Homosexuality: I have seen none of it thusfar. But I do wish there was character romance options. Status: No Pozz

Modern Value Systems: thusfar none of it that doesn't fit in the universe that already existed before the game. Status: HIV NEGATIVE (but subject to change).

Homosexuality is actually in the game apparently. A random npc woman that starts you on the Merlin trials will casually mention her wife if you go through the dialog options. That was not legal in Britain at the time but maybe wizards have their own marriage laws, or the "wife" became one after marriage. Who knows.

Wonder if the tranny actor did the mocap as well for Ryan. That would explain why the entire figure is still a man's.

Kind of like how you can look at Golem, Emperor Snoke, and Ceasar the chimp and still see Andy Serkis.

The voice actor is actually a trans woman (it might have Ben mentioned here before) named Rebeccah Root. And, Sirona really does look like a slightly younger version of him.

I figured as much. Every gay person I've known has an at best negative view of the trans community. They feel as though it devalues the LGBT+ movement as a whole and the accomplishments they've made as an entire group.

It is from my interactions with gay and lesbian people that I believe they can act perfectly normal. Hell, some of them have far more traditional values than me. They have normal jobs, normal families, and act as fully functioning members of society. Troons are the exact opposite in almost all circumstances.

Instead of their sexuality being a part of them rather than their entire personality, troons make it all about their personality. I have yet to meet one troon who isn't batshit insane or mentally impaired in some way. The point where I draw the line is when you involve kids.

If you wanna chop your dick off and you're an adult, fine, make that decision. But the moment you start saying a 12 year old should take puberty blockers that can (despite what troons say) have irreversible effects on both their physical and mental well being? You've gone from being a supposed marginalized group to predators that deserved to be shamed and dealt with accordingly.

I've installed the mod that gives Sirona a woman's voice in the game, and I'm pleased to report it works! The character still has a deep voice but it sounds much more like an actual woman's, not like a troon with a falsetto. Makes the interactions blend with the story much better. Also it might have been the setting for the scene or the lighting, but the character also seemed to look more like a woman. I will take a video next time to make a side by side comparison.
