F.A.Qs about Jail, State Hospital, and Court

What I think people mean, when getting away with it is him not really receiving sufficient punishment for his crimes as in having lasting phycological affects on him that will eventually lead him to becoming more self sufficient and really beat into his head that he can't parade around as much as he pleases and have the weight of his situation really hit him like a fucking train. Yes his financial and life situation is pretty dire but in the grand scheme of human suffering he really doesn't have it that bad.

In a sense that's correct...except for the part where in the bigger picture, the proverbial gavel hasn't even dropped yet, so how can he be sufficiently punished when said punishment is still coming? Everything that's happened with Chris has purely been part of the process to even get him able to stand trial, just to get back to square one. Seriously, Chris effectively has lost literally everything he holds dear in a materialistic sense, been imprisoned away from society and moreover pop culture for multiple years, and he's still on trial.

Chris is too stupid and mired in his own ego to ever fully comprehend how bad he is and how bad things are. Even if he was beaten and raped he would sniffle and chalk it up to suffering because he’s the main character and da trolls are jealous haters. Give up on hoping something will crack his ego and moronic brain. It won’t happen.
I'd also argue that Chris's escapism and messiah complex getting worse by the day is in a way a form of desperate denial. He's always held onto CWCville as existing in an alternate universe, the one where he's the popular kid everyone loves and he can do no wrong where the world bends over backwards to guarantee this (until it doesn't, ala his Catch-22 moment when Simonla had to die and he couldn't get away with immediately replacing her with the daughter, because he realized he still killed a character by his own hands and this violated his own in-universe logic).

And then he got into the Brony scene, with G4 MLP and Bronycon. He was accepted (really just tolerated)! He could be creepy and weird and it was just like the MHS days of yore! Until it all ended and G5 was on the horizon, once again reality coming down and taking from him everything, including a Simonla 2.0 situation where his internal alt. universe logic was going to mean more characters dying that he couldn't do anything to prevent, simply because they faded out of the mainstream.

Now he's in jail by his own actions, cut off from everything (remember the fucker literally was worried about a few fucking toys in his hotel room at the first arraignment) and no light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon, if ever.

I think Chris understands on some level that the Autism card isn't getting him out of this one - if anything, it's gotten him in even MORE trouble - and he's just completely gone off the deep end to live in CWCville, his escapist safe spot, because there he's still loved by everyone. He literally is just too scared to face reality, because his life is just that shit.

I know it's already been brought up, and I'm going to sound like an a-log saying this, but Chris would benefit from using drugs (in this case marijuana), if he wants to escape to CWCville.

A-LOG!

Judging by the airtight attestation we got before, it sounds like they got Chris so baked even the salmon stop spawning.

Congrats on continuance #34 Chris. For those wondering how I got that number, here is the total number of continuances Chris has received over his lifetime:

2005 - 1 continuance for the Target incident.
2011 - 3 continuances for the Snyder GamePlace incident.
2014 - 6 continuances for the GameStop blarms macing incident.
2018 - 15 fucking continuances for tresspassing at Fashion Square Mall.
2021 - 9 continuances and counting for the Barbussy incident.

All hail the level-up continuance king!
I'm sure they just see this fat bastard is up for today, roll their eyes, and just say can't we just do this some other time?

CONTINUANCE!

I think Heilberg knows Chris doesn't qualify for autism disposition (incest isn't a symptom of autism) and I think he knew that from the start, as evidenced by him seemingly trying for Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity first.

He sent Chris to Hickory 1 where we found out NGRI patients are kept, and Chris says Heilberg told him he was just waiting there for a spot in a group home. But Hickory 1 sent him back to jail because he's sane enough to stand trial, so Heilberg tried autism next.

Now think, how good of a chance does Chris have at getting autism disposition if his own lawyer waited a year to even argue it, and only after he tried NGRI, which as we've discussed is itself a hail Marry, and autism disposition is the plan B to THAT
/sigh!

No! There is not nor was there ever any attempt or any consideration of "Not Guilty by Reason if Insanity". That's pure Hollywood Bullshit. Heilberg is by all accounts a competent well seasoned attorney with a lifetimes experience in courts. The only time you might ever see him even considering such a thing would be a desperation move in a John Hinkley type situation where his client is facing life in prison or worse for having killed somebody. Please wipe any thoughts of "Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity" from your mind regarding Chris. Or pretty much any other cow, at least until they eat somebody.

The earlier transfer to psyche was there was a question of Chris's Competency to Stand Trial. There is no Guilt or Innocent component to it. It is simply is he mentally fit to stand trial. They send him to the Nut Hut and beat some reality into him until he is declared competent to at least understand how deep the shit that he is in is, and can possibly help in some meaningful ways in this own defense. As near as we can tell the competency question seemed to be pretty universal between the Prosecutor, Defense and the Judge. Because Chris does come off as a Retarded Lunatic in Court. All the competency question does is put the trial on hold until he is deemed sentient enough for trial. And competent to stand trial is often a very low bar to reach.

The later maneuver by Heilberg is an attempt at an Autism Deferral. It's more of a "Guilty but Fucking Retarded" motion. Once again it's a deferral but with a path to no criminal record. It's basically seeking to shift the mentally deficient hobgoblins off into some form of extended care in a controlled environment. It has some stringent conditions and requirements which if not met result in going back to trial. It probably is the humane thing to do with Chris, and it's the only real option the system might have for dealing with a creature like Chris. But it's not a perfect fit, and Chris should he be approved will likely violate his conditions almost immediately because "Now! Now! Now!"

It will be fascinating to see what Chris has become after over a year in Jail.

Fucking Richard Chase drank baby blood and couldn’t get an NGRI. An actual schizophrenic who killed a baby because he thought he was a vampire. It is extremely difficult to get that plea.

A knowledgeable kiwi said he was there in part to learn how to assist in his defense. Just an addendum.

I give him a few weeks to a month. He’ll do the bare minimum of adjusting because he’s been locked up for so long and because he’s better behaved when he’s on a schedule. But then he’ll flip out over something.

That one time. I doubt he got high off of it. Have Chris smoke more than one joint or consume edibles on a daily basis, and he'll start confusing a cat with sonichu in no time.
You almost never get high the first time you smoke grass, but i'm pretty sure Chris has smoked more than once. A r*dditor who visited him shortly before the incest debacle described him as smelling like weed.

He's also known to use valium, if taken in high enough doses you can get pretty lucid.

I don't think its the solitude getting to him.

More likely it is the lack of junk food and toys.

If you gave him inmate "friends" he would just be more stressed, but less meds and more legos, and he would be back to his old self in no time.
I don't think he understands what friendship is.

As he's never had friends.

What the fuck are you talking about nigger?
high enough doses you can get pretty lucid
Go look up what the word lucid means. I also am going to assume whatever you actually meant is wrong too because you are talking nigger babble from your anus.

Chris isn't a druggy, he never has been. He might have maybe tried stuff but he's not a regular.

At this point I'm genuinely wondering if this case will just be continued for the rest of Chris's life.
Also imo he might be better of in prison than basically anywhere else right now. He's basically shit out of luck if he gets out, no one will want to deal with him, even if he somehow gets out of this without a sex offender charge. In jail he is left alone, gets free meals and a more or less secure place to sleep, which is more than he could really ask for in the outside world right now.

I thought that there was a legal limit to how long somebody could be held in jail without trial, either at the state or federal level. I am not sure what it is, but I thought you will eventually reach a hard cut-off where you either have a hearing or the legal system will be forced to release you.

I was meaning that sarcastically.

In genpop, he would have drunk rednecks, niggos and all manner of unpleasant people around. I would prefer solitary to that.
In Tard HQ where he is now, he is surrounded by other rapists and skizos like himself, hardly pleasant company either. Again, not a big waste to avoid them.

Its not like he will end up surrounded by jolly lawyers and businessmen who got caught embezzling a bit on the side and well travelled hunters with wild campfire tales who shot a deer without a permit.

I am not even sure what level of prison he would end up in if he does get a prison sentence. Is incest considered a "violent crime" enough to land him in a medium security prison? Chris would get his shit stomped pretty quickly if he was involved in a fight, but the way that sex crimes are handled in many states are weird and in some places a sex offense automatically lands you in a higher tier prison even if the offender was more psychologically manipulative rather than physically forceful with his victims.

I don't think he understands what friendship is.

As he's never had friends.
The closest to friends were Megan (to her personal safety, Lucas and Mimms), her autistic older brother, and that Pokemon Club prior to second hobby shop ban.... loosely that DnD group as one male was given his own Sonichu and "written in Chris's Will" (Not a binding contract/document/no witnesses, nothing legal nor insurable).

Chris has warped views on friendship ever since Bob paid some girl in middle school to look after Chris, and it extended during high school with the Gal-Pals. Keep in mind, they never regularly hung out after school, as most teens did during that time, and the only times Chris socialized with them was at prom or during his birthday party. Chris has a very surface level view on the concept of friendship. He only knew a little bit of his Gal-Pals, but nothing too deep (I doubt they would be interested in Pokemon), so that's why Megan was Chris' next choice in a friend. Now, Chris' view on friendship is that he has to be the leader in any group he's in, and doesn't want to be questioned. It's one of the reasons why his imaginary coping mechanism is so high.
