You may not want to brag on Kiwi Farms about your exploits in contacting partners at VC firms. But their information is not difficult to find, should you dig. And while Liz Fong-Jones has a history of consent accidents, there's an equally big public trail of Charity Majors (Honeycomb's CTO and co-founder) running interference for a notorious Silicon Valley sex pest. So there is definitely lots of dirt to be dug up at Honeycomb.io.

This is a public record of Honeycomb's venture capital funding to date (archive), complete with the companies involved and, in some cases, the partners within those companies who handled the Honeycomb funding. There is neither a paywall nor a login involved.

Here are the top 5 lead investors. (Archive wasn't working for this page, sorry)

I am not seeing any funding coming in for 2022 or 2023. They raised $50m in October 2021 but do not appear to have received any further cash infusions since that time. This is not surprising as VC funding has been in short supply across the board.

I found this gem on the SREcon site, this page includes a contact address to voice concerns even. My favorite part is where they disregard the statistics that point to an overall decline in violent hate crimes in the United States to inject their own subjective "feelings" regarding the matter. Who knows, they might be onto something, as even Elliot, Liz Fong-Jones has self-admitted to committing a sexual assault under the misnomer "consent accident". I'm almost certain that crime never was reported to authorities.

It's not really a surprise that this organization would continue to invite Elliot to speak considering he's held chair positions on the organizing committees in the past. I don't know the extent of his involvement these days, however, his involvement with any organized event should be a warning sign of the overall tone and presentation quality that one will have to endure. (pro-tip: i recommend not attending).

TBPH, I don't think contacting venture capital firms would have much more effect on Honeycomb.io than RubinRemus's constant @s to Tier 1 Providers have had on Kiwi Farms. But I'm also not even sure it's necessary. There's not a lot of VC money floating around and I'm betting every one of those venture capitalists has a dozen or more investments in its portfolio that are a safer and more profitable investment than Honeycomb.

Not a business analyst, but I'd guess Honeycomb has 12 months tops to find another buyer or get an angel investor. And if that happens I don't see a lot of big tech firms lining up to make offers to a brick-jawed walking consent accident in a dress who has a consistent history of causing trouble for anybody who employs him.

You're supposed to act like Kiwi Farms is dead and are not allowed to say that Keffals didn't really take down the forum or point out he made it even harder to take down, unless it's to make Kiwi Farms appear as an intimidating threat that needs to be stopped, in which case it's A-okay to say it. Keffals has been fading into obscurity so fast and is getting backstabbed so frequently as of late that I'm surprised this even mentions he had anything to do with it.

Image 3: Hooray, it points out the forum's 10-year anniversary. And censors the word "suicide" for some reason. And once again, more weird mutually elusive stances. The people and their friends writing this trite parades around saying it's a powerful victory that Kiwi Farms doesn't appear in Google's search results but oops, it still appears in Google's search results according to this stupid thing.

Image 4: "The website now flickers on and off periodically." For around a minute when somebody fails a daily DDoS attempt they spent their parent's money on. Sometimes the website is just up all day. It isn't even "off," you just get a connection error at times. I don't know why they're saying Kiwi Farms was "banned," either. Other than to make it sound like there was a deeper and dangerous meaning to the forum requiring it to be "banned" instead of just removed from a DDoS mitigation service which immediately shared its regret for doing so.
