@chimpburgers You better hurry down to Tucson so you don't keep the ACLU waiting! Really do threats like this ever actually work? I've never once seen it happen. This may be because the people who end up as subjects here are crazies who never know when to stop talking. Face it, @Thomas Jay Wasserberg loves the attention. That's obviously why he keeps coming back here to talk with us even though he keeps saying he has better things to do.

If law enforcement and/or "civil rights" organisations are too damned incompetent to track down a physical address, how in the hell would they ever manage to put together a case?

What a moron. The ACLU almost never gets involved in private disputes. The entirety of its litigation is against the government. On the rare occasions they do get involved in non-government cases, it's at the appellate stage, like Boy Scouts of America v. Dale.

Not to mention that even if one of the civil rights organisations did want to float an "internet harassment" test case - and that will happen eventually - they would not choose someone like Tommy as their representative victim. Losing because you chose the wrong poster child cements the status quo for a long time to come.

Civil rights organizations would generally take the opposite side, like Eugene Volokh in the Valkenburg v. Gjoni case. They're generally not in the business of trying to shut down entirely legal speech on behalf of lunatics.

Unlike the so-called "news media," any decent attorney does their own investigation into the facts of a case, if only to determine whether it's winnable.

The whole thing is him pretending that he's not assmad about being trolled and tries to ebeg and peddle his stones and music, while insulting AMB and Kiwi Farms for looking into his past. I didn't even fully understand it but it was so weird and crazy that I couldn't help but watch the whole thing. You can tell he's high out of his mind.

Look at it this way, he's made 35,000 tweets on AMB alone without a single successful lawsuit. Not to mention thousands of FB posts and thousands of alt. posts. We're at a measly hundred pages, so I think we're gonna be waiting a while for the internet sheriff to arrive.
