Also, I realize this is a bit late, but the reason many people stay with their abusive spouses is due to several factors:
1. The abuser finds ways to prevent their victim from leaving. This often includes controlling the finances and cutting the victim off from their support network.
2. After abusive episodes, the abuser often apologizes and acts very sweet towards their victim.
3. Abusers often use emotional manipulation on their victims. They make their victims feel guilty for wanting to leave.
Because of these factors, unfortunately, it is rare to see someone leave an abusive relationship. What Onision's spouses have done is not unusual in the slightest. It's not very realistic to ask why they don't just leave him.

#2 and #3 are highly accurate, which is why I said he used sex and manipulative tactics towards her. But also, you have to realize she was FORCED to sign the divorce papers, she didn't want to leave him and didn't know until the very end that he was gonna leave her permanently for Shiloh(she also knew about it, but she probably thought it was just a one-time deal).

It was until AFTER the marriage where she realized (with the help of therapists) that he was controlling and psychologically torturing her.

Otherwise, she would've still had Stockholm Syndrome-I mean love for him.

In case anyone hasn't posted about it before, he wrote two books, "Stones to Abbigale" and "This Is Why I Hate You". The first is supposed to be semi-autobiographical, while the second is mostly just a pretentious "decent into madness" tale.
Oh, and he also clearly can't handle any amount of criticism (though I guess this falls under the category of videos)

He's clearly a shitty liar, but he seems to have some awareness of that, as he chooses partners who won't question him too deeply. He's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is, but that's true for a lot of pompous assholes.

STA ended with James and Abbi having sex 24/7 along with Abbi constantly calling him "hubby".

According to HSAnon; "Abbi" represents all of his high school sweethearts (chronologically speaking). He also married the last of them - hence why Abbi kept calling James "hubby" during the end.

It doesn't end with it, it happens right out of nowhere like five chapters in, and all it is is a catalyst to get Greg's self-insert and his manic pixie dream girl to ~fall in love~. He wrote people dying horribly as a means of getting his main characters to bump uglies.
The novel is pretentious self-insert drivel and let's just say Onision desperately needs to fire his proofreader because his grammar is so bad. So bad.

He claims he doesn't read anything (as if that is something of which to be proud), so perhaps there is a connection there.

Edit: Also there's a PDF, just in case you want to subject yourself to this literary abomination. But frankly the chapter reviews are really all that need to be read to get an understanding of just how bad this book is.
