It's a German, maybe Austrian thing?, that immigrants brought to the US. I think it's traditionally a sweet mustard over there. I know the Pennsylvania Dutch preferred a spicy mustard.

The lien was filed in California about a year ago or maybe more. Just a month ago the judgement was domesticated in Milwaukee. A lien should have been automatically registered 15 days afterward, though it doesn't appear that that has happened yet (probably not unusual). The next step is a debtor's exam. Beyond that, it all depends upon what is revealed during said exam. It's possible that Quasi wants to wait it out and see where Patrick's "career" goes, because currently he has literally nothing and if he pounces now, Patrick might declare bankruptcy and get out of it (though the judgement might not get discharged if he does so, and the bankruptcy might not even be approved to begin with). Hard economic times are about to befall us, so maybe it will force Patrick to return to the workforce, or take his insurance career more seriously.
All that said, Patrick's "flaunting" of his wealth and claiming that he doesn't owe a penny is not very wise.
