Maybe it is because I'm not famous but I see so many situations celebrities/influencers/whatever you want to call them get into that can be pretty simply solved by just being honest. In Dore's situation big deal you spat on the dude, just say you did it, apologize (or don't who cares) and move on.

Isn't Tim less than 300 miles away from East Palestine? Instead of sperging over "media blackout", he can jump into his van and get there in less than a day. Interview locals, fly drones over derailment site, film dead fish in creeks etc. Hell, he can find/hire people who know how to properly sample water and soil (even local eco-activists can help, they tend to be less spergy and political than large groups). All these petroleum-like stains in the water from videos we saw? Sample it, bring to an independent lab for analysis, find someone competent to disscuss the results with. And then, make a story out of it. Doesn't need to have fancy editing or cutting-edge 3D graphics, so it won't be expensive. And it will be infinitely more useful for the cause than reading Daily Mail articles on air and inserting capeshit references left and right.

No, the motivation varies by writer, but typically he just doesn't trust Spider-Man because he wears a mask, and I think his first wife was killed by a masked burglar or something to that effect.
