I read the other thread on occasion. People there believe that Russia will win within the year, that shortly after Bakhmut falls, the remaining ~500km to Kyiv will take care of itself. There was a brief discussion about which flag they were going to buy to celebrate (specifically, the one with the hammer and sickle). So, as far as they're concerned, saying that Russia isn't going to win soon is NATO propaganda.
Now, I may be wrong, but... most of us who support Ukraine are not plastering Ukrainian flags on our property. Because that's embarrassing shit that Redditors do, being nationalist for someone else's country is cringe.
