Exactly what I was thinking. Benzos are super easy to get from a doctor especially if your adderall/vyvanse/whatever upper theyre giving you "works really well but I just can't sleep". Guarantee you it's a benzo of some flavor, that would explain the slurring.

in fact correct me if im wrong but i do not think its possible to die from withdrawls from any drug as long as you go to the hospital or rehab. you still suffer of course but quitting and going somewhere you can be monitored and given things to keep you stable do wonders to prevent death.

Nah you can die from a severe benzo addiction pretty easily afaik, so that's probably what he's referring to. It can cause bad seizures and heart attacks during withdrawals. That's why they had to put Jordan Peterson in a coma to get him off of Xanax. My guess is he used the "swatting" attempt and everything as an excuse to pick up a high mg Xanax script and has been high ever since
