Many of you know that I live in Australia. I have for many years lived in the desert central areas of Australia where temps reach 47C for maybe 5-7 days in a row, (116F) significantly less than Chantal will have to deal with in Kuwait summer. For those that think once it reaches 40F (104F) it’s hot and nothing above that matters, I can tell you it does. These days I live in a much milder climate, it’s only 42C today, and my house has 18” stone walls and a new very efficient A/C system. It still can’t keep up. I look forward to Chinny having to deal with summer in Kuwait, because their is no way a fat freak like her will ever be able to cope with the kind of heat she is about to be subjected to.

I don't know about Kuwait but from my experience in Morocco and Tunisia sidewalks are almost nearly useless so it's actually safer to walk in the street.
