Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Honestly I'm shocked this creature is actually in combat somewhere. The sadder/funnier part is their first thought after receiving a lifelong injury in combat is to take their phone out and start posting about it on Twitter.
I still think he got that injury trying to steal tampons from a vending machine.

Quick Russia, fire for effect and finish the job!!!
You know who I feel bad for? The medics who had to treat him.

I can just picture the conversation they had after.

"Mykola, did you see what the orcs did to that poor guy? They cut his dick right off!"
"Yes, and they put a clown wig on him too."
"Animals."

They have to mention Dune because the movie came out recently
Oh god another one? How badly did they butcher the books this time?

Wouldn't you just write "fighting the Harkonnens" rather than "fighting with the Harkonnens" if that were the case?
They're ESL boomers grabbing at random pop culture references from a dartboard full of Current Year™ calendars from different years who've never once heard of any of the shit they're including in the post.

Well, we didn't see any fighting or the actual injury, so I'll keep my reservations regarding that story..

Not bad actually. They genderswapped Kynes for some reason, but the rest looks mostly ok.
I still missed the shield-laser explosion caused by the shield Duncan left behind as a booby-trap.

This is like 90% of the reason I even come to this thread anymore, in the hopes that one day somebody posts a CNN article about this attention whoring degenerate being turned into hamburger meat by a Kalibr.
All the time I spent asking for news tranny updates was because I was waiting for something like this. Now I guess we see how long he's pulled from battle. I would suspect they wouldn't risk their PR asset.

Well, well. It looks like China is about to make its move right after the US told it to be a good little chink and stay the fuck out. Now that the sultan is buried under piles of rubble, the dragon is about to play the peacemaker in his stead and propose a peace settlement with Xi visiting Moscow later in the spring, if only to say "at least we tried" before giving up its neutrality for good.

This does not bode well for Ukraine because China has an axe to grind with Zelensky. Why, I can hear you ask, what could this heroic defender of his homeland possibly do to offend such a faraway nation? So let me tell you a story.

Once upon a time Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic was the pride of USSR. It had factories that built rocket engines, airplaines, heavy machinery, nuclear power plant equipment (ahem) and was the beating industrial heart of the greater whole. Then the dissolution happened and pretty much all of the above was scrapped, stolen, abandoned or stripped of copper wiring to sell, but a few assembly lines still remained. One of such artifacts of the bygone era was "Motor Sich", a Ukrainian company engaged in the development, production, repair and maintenance of aviation gas turbine engines and industrial gas turbine units.

Enter Chinese who have been stealthily buying everything they can get their grubby little mitts on in Russia, Africa, Europe and the US for the last decade or so. Motor Sich was an object of great interest exactly because it was old - this meant it could be purchased relatively cheaply and had the production line and documentation for technology that could be built without expensive electronic components. I am sure you can see where this is going.

The purchase was approved by the Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko himself in 2017. Cue handshakes, smiles, promises to invest hundreds of millions of dollars into the facility, etc.

And then a change of presidents happened. Out with the old, in with the new, all hail president Zelensky... Who promtly received a phone call from Washington in March 2021 and called off the deal, arrested the director of the facility over allegations of treason, nationalized the whole shebang and told the Chinese to fuck off. The Chinese demanded their money back. Zelensky, as is tradition in his wonderful country, went "you struck a deal with a person other than me, go bother him about that". The Chinese sued Ukraine for 4.5 billion dollars in damages.

I don't think they will forget this insult any time soon.

I'm sure you're right, but while I agree China's got every right to be angry about this, it's absolutely delicious to see them get a dose of their own medicine. China is notorious for telling foreigners who get shafted on business deals by Chinese companies to go fuck themselves when they sue in Chinese courts. Nice to see them to eat some of that themselves.
