So thank God, BBJ got that vet appointment. Chantal had let her nails grow until they were embedded into her toe-beans again. Five nails puncturing her feet! Poor cat. The vet removed them but the cat was screaming in pain. She also had to have her dingleberries shaved…..(you’re disgusting, Chantal).

But. BBJ is looking good for her age. No serious problems other than the nails found so far. More serious tests next week.
Chantal is a selfish, lazy, monster.
Thanks to FFG. This is a win-win all round. FFG will be the hero, get the superchats and the cat will be in a good home. Her sister-in-law is taking her so she won’t stay with Frenchie. The biggest win for us? Chantal will be self-combusting with fury if she didn’t know about this. I don’t think she knew.

No money changed hands anywhere

She’ll be apoplectic about this, that the cat’s neglect will now be common knowledge.

The vet “was shocked” that this cat was about to be put down, so she’s obviously not seriously Ill, but the neglect was serious.

Everybody wins here. The cat has a lovely home. FFG is the hero…respect the hustle…..and we will get a rage like never before.
