Personally, judging by the previous warmongering tendencies of the First Woman President™ and her highly aggressive stance against Russia, I really hope she won't start or provoke a war until after I graduate from university. I want to have some fun in this life before dying in nuclear fire.
Hillary's not particularily warmongery.
Not out of principle. She's just cowardly and cynical. She snuffed out a planned intervention in the Balkans to advance her healthcare plans; which failed miserably, and an intervention happened later on anyway with the only difference being the loss of several tens of thousands of civilians and tens more thousands of rapes conducted by Milošević acolytes; then in '08 she pretended both that she supported intervention all along and lied about being under sniper fire.
Then there's Iraq, on which she has a record that's both horrendous and one which should disgust people on both sides of the war's debate.
First, there was the Gulf War, which most Democrats in the House and Senate voted against. This caused most of the serious Democrat Nominee contenders to deliberately avoid running in '92 due to Bush's post-war popularity. The Clintons weren't in the Legislature, so they didn't have to vote, which eventually led to their victory. Along these lines of thinking,
Hillary voted for the next Iraq War while Senator thinking it'd be as easy as it was in the early 90s. But governing is a hell of a lot harder than conquering; the war dragged on and became unpopular with Democrats. Hillary then decided, as a means of attacking Obama from the Left,
that she should vote against the Troop Surge in '07. Turns out,
the Surge actually worked pretty well. But none of it mattered, because Hillary wanted to score political points with anti-war voters. As a result, under her tenure, she took a boxcutter to the throat of several vital programs to Iraqi security --
including diplomatic presence and law-enforcement training -- as a means of quickening US withdrawl and thus strengthening her position as a peace candidate.
This'll sound hyperbolic, but I'll say it anyway. I'm even sure
@Katsu,
@AnOminous, and
@Eye-Dub will all agree with me at once:
Hillary Clinton has the worst record on Iraq of any politician in any party in the country. No voter concerned with principles on either side should even consider giving this woman any degree of power above access to safety scissors, and now she's the only human being in the country with a serious chance at preventing Papa Fred's spoiled-rotten spawn from gaining access to ICBMs.
Christ, I need to pray more.
