Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

God in what fucking fantasy does anyone live in where Ukraine wins this? They ran out if wunderwaffen and military gibs, they are training their own Volkstrumm full of kidnapped teens and kids and old geezers, they are just grinding themselves to death and losing ground anyway. What the hell could the plan be to stop Russia other than wasting Ukraine blood to bleed Russia is good for Ukraine’s ‘allies’?

You'd think this was Russian-paid state propaganda, but no, they're just stupid
They are also incredible lazy they make one bouncy castle per day,,,,

But I was told by Internet Patton that these and Bradey's crewed by crack 5 weeks of training Ukrainians were going to be driving to Sevastopol in May. Nobody would just make shit up on the internet to stroke their own ego...right?
They would be more than enough when combined with all the other stuff they already got. the issue is that they are bad at war.
They still dont use their pzh 2000s to hunt russians arty...

It's a proxy war.
The aim is to weaken the Russian military and their economy.

Ukraine is just the sacrificial goat

All we've managed to do blow through our stocks of weapons, spend fuckloads of cash, and unnecessarily strain NATO.

We're not doing this correctly.
Then again, I'm not sure how else America would bait Russia into a proxy war in some other manner.

Or do you mean they should have prepared for the proxy war and not sold their industry to the Chinese?

No official American military blood has been spilt and now have the justification to ramp up the production from the military industrial complex. All that ageing equipment given to the Ukies will be purchased/replaced with shiny new American ones (the order books will be full for the remainder of the decade)

Win-win for the war hawks.

We saw after the unintended election of Trump these people aren't geniuses with good foresight. Sure, sociopathic, psychotic, but not infallible. In fact it seems quite the opposite. They continue huffing their own farts despite evidence to the contrary. Often resorting to more extreme measures. George Bush Sr. and Kissinger are probably losing their shit over how stupid these new kids are.

You should use yt-dlp for all of these screenshots of tweets you post.

Basic usage for Twitter is a bit different but not hard. The issue is it tries to apply the full tweet to the name if you use default settings.
Code:
yt-dlp -o "Name of video.mp4" "twitterlink"

# Example below
yt-dlp -o 20230225_Zelensky_using_translator_earpiece.mp4 "https://twitter.com/ricwe123/status/1629552848441692161"
Works for most online videos the same way.

I don't think most world leaders care about Ukraine winning. They just want to bleed Russia and probably profit along the way.

I missed it if someone posted about this heartwarming sideshow upthread, but in Berlin they (which they? no idea) put a captured Russian tank with a Ukrainian flag in front of the Russian embassy. Some Germans (and others) chucked the flag, and put masses of roses on the tank, and notes saying things like let's not nuke each other, or that they remember the kids who died in Donbass etc.

according to this random tweeter,
the grandson of Otto von Bismark apparently spoke there.
Screen Shot 2023-02-26 at 13.55.41.png

My rough partial translation: We brought 2,000 roses to decorate the tank, so that our government will finally negotiate with others. Not only delivering weapons, but with diplomatic relations. (something something) is the most important. We must talk, we are not enemies, neither against Ukraine or Russia.......

edit: This tweet links to an article in German, which calls it an art installation, amusingly mentioning that the tank is taking aim at the embassy.

The Tank Museum has a "Top 5" video on tanks going to the Ukraine. The curator, David Willey, is set in his ways on saying "the Ukraine"; I'm surprised they didn't make it a point to tell him to stop that. Not all of the info is accurate but to be fair it's a mess on who is sending what when.

  1. Challenger 2's from the UK should be in Ukraine by the end of March, with some support vehicles and trained Ukrainian crews.
  2. Lots of T-72s have been sent from various countries to the Ukraine since the invasion has kicked off.
  3. Notion of Leopard 2s being notable because official support for them is in Europe, so NATO can support those best.
    • I think that's very optimistic.
  4. Leopard 1s that have been in storage permitted to be soldto Ukraine.
    • Rightly calls out that such an old tank will be hard to support.
  5. Brief history lesson on Abrams family.
    • Not sure why he didn't focus on the monkey models going to Ukraine.
    • Likely didn't talk about ETA because there isn't really one, just a "maybe in a year" last I read.
Has anyone heard about the armour on the Challengers? Chobam / Dorchester armour is one of the few things the UK still does itself, and apparently quite well.
However, although the Army may be grumpy, London is run by niggers and it wouldn't surprise me if they just handed that shit over.

It's mentioned in the Chally, T-72, Leo 2, and Abrams sections of the video. Though really only applies to the Chally and T-72 as they mention the Chally having it (obviously) and some T-72s having modifications inspired by it with unclear efficacy, though it can't hurt.

They think this is a Russian L. Guys, you realize that by your own words, Russia has destroyed all the Himars in Ukraine PLUS the decoys?

You'd think this was Russian-paid state propaganda, but no, they're just stupid

This is pretty hysterical.

"RUSSIA IS EXHAUSTING ALL THEIR MISSLES BLOWING UP FAKES LOL."

"....But they blew up all the HIMARS in the theater."

"HAHAH LOOK AT THOSE STUPID RUSKIES HITTING DECOYS" *sharts*

Yeah, destroying 140% of HIMARS isn't the L you think it is. Yeah, they wasted some money blowing up decoys and we probably wasted two million blowing up several hobbyist balloons.

Win-win for the war hawks.

To the United States, Ukraine's sovereignty is irrelevant. Nobody who has ever paid attention to politics believes the US is about 'Democracy' and 'Peace'. This is about seeing how Russia functions and attempting to bleed Russia of resources in a proxy war.

The problem is, the West is not meeting these objectives. In fact, it has actively hurt Western Economic Hegemony. It has shown sanctions are toothless when you get down to it, and if you don't want to play by the West's rules, you don't have to. Putin just seized $150 billion in Western investments and there's probably more to come. If you've made them an international pariah, no point in stopping.

Not to mention a lot of countries are tired of the US Dollar being the reserve currency, which is cause for the US pushing its weight around. This has made Iran, China and our good 'friends' the Saudi's eyes light up as they can chip away at it. This, what should have been a regional conflict, has now put cracks in Western hegemony.

The West has had foreign policy failure after foreign policy failure time and time again. Our adventures in the sand amounted to nothing but trillions lost and millions dead. This is why they're so desperate to pull out a win in Ukraine now. Before, Russia was desperate to pull out a win. But now the shoe is on the other foot. Its why advisors begged them to withdraw from Bakhmut, because Russia was using the cauldron to bleed Ukraine because the stupid faggot Zelinsky made it this big symbol and was tossing meat in the meat grinder. Now it is nearly encircled and that 'symbol' will soon be a fucking charnel house. For people that brush this off, losing Bakhmut after all of these losses is a MAJOR blow to morale, especially when its been made a symbol of Ukrainian resistance. Morale is extremely important. A lot of wars have been lost because of morale loss. So even if it doesn't matter to the defensive line, it matters to morale, and that loss is a major blow.

Its obvious to everyone that Ukraine isn't going to be pushing the Russian's out or winning. It hasn't made any major gains since the beginning of the war and support, domestically and abroad, is waning. No matter how much these bureaucrats sniff their own fucking jenkem, as soon as it endangers their careers, they won't be able to find Ukraine on a map anymore. Or they'll spin it as a 'win', expect comparisons to Reagan bringing down the Soviet Union without a single death.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is a zombie nation on full life support that supporters of Ukraine don't seem to even want to come to terms with.

What foreign aid pays for:

> Humanitarian Relief
> Infrastructure (Electricity, water, heat, etc.)
> Defense
> Government Salaries
> Pensions

There is not a single function of the Ukrainian government that cannot stand on its own anymore. Functionally, it is dead as a nation and it will be parsed out to people who give a shit (Poland and Russia) once people get tired of paying for an entire fucking country when we can't even buy eggs and have shortages of basic medicines for no fucking reason.

This entire proxy war only benefits the military-industrial complex. They're the real winners (they always are). This is because the Ukrainian war has been one gigantic fucking advertisement for weapons and weapons systems. They're even field tested with plenty of propaganda videos. Sure, they're sending only a handful, but fuck it, its not about winning, its about all that green.

Truthfully, this war is a loser for everyone except the wealthy. Ukraine is going to be reduced to a rump state, split between the US and Russia with loans it can never pay off and permanently indebted to vulture capitalists who will pick it dry, Russia is less stable and will probably never trust the West again (as if it ever did), a second hegemony was created, and lots of people died. Because we decided to fuck with a regional conflict.

Honestly, this is the saddest part for me. An entire country destroyed for at least several decades, a corrupt government which is only going to get worse, and a population scattered across the world which will never return.
I can't even see how this will benefit the USA in the long term.
It's just a fucking waste.

For all you night owls, Ryan Dawson is about to go live with Coach Red Pill.

I know, I know, CRP is a joke. I've watched a few of his Ukraine/Russia videos, and it kills me to say it, but that cringy boomer sort of knows his shit.

Here the link if you can stomach it.

Edit: He looks like a homeless and bearded Kevin Pollak lol

Any Russian-speakers here? For news I only follow Радио Комсомольская Правда, but I’m actively looking for more quality Russian channels. I used to follow Коц and Сладков+ on telegram but I can’t stomach the dead bodies that sometimes show up. Повестки Харьков is where I sometimes go to see Ukrainians bitch about mobilisation but there gore sometimes pops up too.

That last video is so fucking cringy. The dude puts his NODs down and has his IR laser on during the day time just so he can get some gay ass footage of him shooting static targets from basically nowhere away like he's some kind of no scope COD kid. Even worse, he actually manages to miss some shots like this.

It's just a fucking waste.

It won't. Nothing about this benefits the US or US hegemony. This is a war without any possibility of a victory condition for NATO or the Ukraine. We're not gonna exhaust the Russian economy. We're not gonna beat its military. We're not gonna force regime change. Nothing about that is possible, not matter how much ammunition or how many tanks we throw at the problem. And even if by some miracle, the war hawks were to get everything they wanted and the entire Russian military were to somehow evaporate tomorrow by some demonic magic, all that would happen is that the Zelenksy would wake up to find his entire nation blanketed in nuclear hellfire until the entirety of it would resemble Chernobyl. Then the West would silently watch and would have no choice but to come to the negotiating table with hat in hand, because they certainly aren't going to walk into a MAD situation over a non-NATO state. And if by insane chance, any country's leadership were to try that, I suspect it'd spell the end for NATO, not because the whole world would be nuked, but because every other country in NATO would likely be weighing the validity of a treaty on a piece of paper against their own survival and would choose to cut a deal privately with the Russians to avoid annihilation.

That's why this war was doomed from the start. Putting aside that the Ukraine doesn't have the manpower, weaponry, or economy to support a drawn out engagement with the Russians, no outcome where backing a nuclearly armed great power into a corner is ever a good idea that is going to lead to profits and victory all around. We should have listened to all the warnings given in 2008 and 2014. Now no matter how this ends, Ukraine is finished. I legitimately feel bad for any fighter over there doing this not because they're one of our spooks but out of some nationalist love for their country, as those guys are the most fucked of anyone. Putin's not gonna conquer the country, but he honestly doesn't need to. He just has to take the good bits like the Donbas and fuck whatever else is left into the dirt hard enough until it's utterly worthless to anyone. Turn the whole thing into a poisoned pill for the West to drain our economies and ensure that land can never be effectively used to box them in again. On that front, he's succeeding, spectacularly. And I can't even be upset about it because it's exactly what the West fucking deserves playing stupid games with no objective in the backyard of a great power.
