I know this is a very very late reply, but I actually encountered one of these people IRL.
A while back when I visited the pizza place I used to work at, they got a new hire that was a young woman (probably about 17) who identified as non-binary and called herself Diov. Diov is Void backwards. I briefly introduced myself as a former employee and mentioned how nice it was to have another woman working there (since for the longest time every employee was male except for one woman in her 60's). The MOMENT I said woman, her face fell and she walked off elsewhere in the store.
A guy I used to work with mentioned she "identified as non-binary". I did my best to feign concern that I offended this very petite woman (couldn't have been more than 5'2" and 110 lbs) and that she didn't look, speak, and behave exactly like a normal young woman.

A less retarded version of this analogy (which troons couldn't use because it would show how retarded they are) would be one person saying 'hey, is that your four-wheeled car?'. Cars have four wheels, there is no need to mention the number of wheels because it's normal. 'Is that your car with the three wheels?' would be a valid question, because a three-wheeled car is not normal. To put it more plainly: there's a reason we distinguish between sparkling and still water but don't bother to put 'transparent' on the label.
'Cis' is a redundant term because it's just restating the obvious, that you're normal. I guess you could argue the trans label is equally redundant because, honey, we know, but it remains valid because it's a deviation from the norm and therefore worthy of distinction.
ETA: While I thoroughly appreciate all the hilarious Reliant Robin footage I do know three-wheeled cars have existed in the past, but there's a reason they never caught on, and I imagine it's the same reason troons are doomed to die out. We, as a society, took one look and collectively said 'lmao, no'.

On a (somewhat) recent MATI, Null noted how the racist community is so much more diverse than the anti-racist community, and I think that's even more true for anti-trans vs. pro-trans. All the TRAs look the same, like they were made in a factory, but anti-trans people come from all walks of life and have such diversity in appearance, personality, and politics.
