Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

it really doesn't matter, for all practical functions, jazz is not gendered. eunuch comes close, but the puberty blockers mean they're even less developed than that.

any pronouns will be equally inaccurate at this point. pretty sad really.
Honestly this show is so boring I can barely pay enough attention to properly hate watch it. Just scenes of Jazz being sad and anxious mixed in with meaningless filler. Could they not script something a little better than some intern calling Jazz a faggot on Tinder while Jazz and his boring tv friends are at a smoothie shop?

I'm still thrown by the condom thing from the first episode. Was Jazz trying to make an awkward joke to make Jeanette uncomfortable or does he unironically fill condoms with water and...suck on them??
I'm baffled that he said "a lot of women who want bigger boobs think 'oh I can take estrogen like trans women do and I'll end up with growth', but it doesn't really work like that" because
1) he actually thinks that real women can grow their breasts with estrogen and that real women think it's a viable method
2) he says "it doesn't really work like that" without considering why he thinks it works for transwomen and not for real women. Jazz, what difference does transwomen have compared to real women?
As a nurse, I was disturbed they allowed Jazz to say this without a disclaimer or editing out, as though this is an actual treatment plan for flat chested teens & young women. Docs don’t even want to give small doses of estrogen for extended periods of time to post-menopausal women who no longer produce the normal hormone levels of youth, due to ⬆️ risks of cancer, blood clots & more. With Jazz’s obesity & taking cross sex hormone, estrogen, I’d be a bit concerned about blood clots.

This season is taking place summer 2022, and it is now Spring semester 2023. Does anyone have any insight into whether Jaron did, indeed, leave Harvard? I know some of you are more plugged into the Jennings family social media than the rest of us.
I searched Harvard's web directory (https://www.directory.harvard.edu/) and he is still listed on there as an undergraduate student:

IAmJaron.png
Note: "Department: COL" tells us nothing useful - from what I can tell it is short for Harvard College, which covers all undergraduate programs at Harvard University, and it is unclear if that will be updated if/when he declares a major.

So Jaron might be on whatever Harvard's term is for personal leave but he hasn't dropped out altogether. Remember, Jaron is not the first badly underqualified person to get into Harvard - athletes, celebrities, and donors' kids get in there all the time; there are probably official or semi-official ways to give them special treatment to make sure they don't flunk out, get the school sued, and so on. He's not special in that regard; the only difference between him and the other students who shouldn't really be there is that the campus psychiatrist is probably monitoring him very closely after.... whatever happened that made him withdraw the first time.

Edit: It is hard to overstate the legal risk for Harvard + negative PR for everyone involved that would come with Jaron killing himself/attempting to kill himself/having a mental breakdown that could not be covered up while in Cambridge. This is why I believe there was some truth to the story arc 1 or 2 seasons ago where he had to get doctors' recommendations + do some community service before being readmitted - that is never part of the normal admissions process but it is a TV-friendly way of spinning Harvard's attorneys + doctors saying "we believe your son is mentally unfit to attend and will not readmit him until you address our concerns".

He doesn't have to declare a major yet. The first two years are prerequisites, as in every other university. He could've gone to the local community college and gotten that done, but where is the prestige in that? Also, how is he using a fictitious name on his official online records?

I know he doesn't have to declare yet, it would just have been interesting to see what he wants to major in because "no idea/not declared" is boring.

Also, how is he using a fictitious name on his official online records?
Because an online directory is not an official record in the sense that you are using it - when I was in undergrad, you could change your name in the online directory within reason (like changing "Steven" to "Steve" or even "Mikhail" to "Michael") by putting in a request with IT. What this didn't do was change your name in systems where it really mattered like HR, Payroll, or the Registrar's office.

The latest I have read does not suggest that potential side effects are considered significant enough to refuse prescribing HRT (for most women), when started before 60/within a few years of the last period. Certain women/medical histories shouldn't have one hormone or the other (or at all), but the literature I've read promotes it as a positive for most menopausal/post-menopausal women. And though the usual prescribed duration is 2 - 5 years, there is some thought of potentially taking HRT for a lifetime, possibly in different forms over time.

As for girls/younger women and estrogen, yes, you're not supposed to smoke while on hormonal birth control due to the added potential for dvt/blood clots - same for managing weight, etc.

However, it seems that feminizing hormone therapy has a lower increased risk of blot clots than birth control pills do for women.

I deadnamed him in the search because I just got done reading a bunch of TERF stuff and laughing my ass off at the newest mêmes in the applicable thread.., I got the results for Jazz like you did which makes me think he still goes by Jaron legally because he knows deep down and so does that overbearing cunt Jeanette that JWNBAW...

So over troons and their cluelessness about biology...

Did you search for Jaron or Jazz?

I recall that, back when he first started at Harvard, he was in that directory just as straight up "Jaron Bloshinsky" and NOT as Jazz. Then at some point, it became Jazz Jennings. Which tells us that Jaron B is still his legal name.

I searched "Jennings" and "Jazz Jennings" popped up. It'd be hard to tell if he's legally changed his name since he originally enrolled because the directory doesn't have to give legal names and you know Jeanette is crazy enough to search for any mention of her son's real name on Harvard's website and complain until it got taken down if she found anything.

In Harvard, he has to work hard to earn anything,

Dude wuht…..he’s at Harvard. He’s surrounded by coddled rich kids whose parents bought them 50k gold plated participation trophies. Nearly every student enrolled there gets an ‘A’ in every class.

The kid just does not want to be on TV, does not want to be in college, wants to lay in the couch eating ding dongs and bemoaning the fact that he’ll never have an orgasm.

People forget, that puberty blockers are known to cause at least a 10 point drop in IQ, maybe even more. Add to the fact you never let him go through his natural puberty....he is stunted. Emotionally, mentally, and physically stunted.

And let's not forget, the last season, Jazz was on a drug cocktail of 17 different medications, because he had that suicide attempt or mental breakdown during his first year at Harvard. Not sure if he's on less at this point, but, being able to only function with 17 different drugs, and with my knowledge of the more potent ones, who knows if he's even fully there mentally? It's quite feasible that his brain is just fucking fried at this point.

Yes, but not Jazz.

Entirely possible that he's in literal pain all the time.

Powerlevel but when you hurt, there's a chunk of your processing capacity that's devoted to that.

He seems permanently distracted in the style of people who have health issues but who are too polite/exhausted for complaining.

Not to be so pessimistic, but I would imagine that Jazz getting his bikini line waxed, and despite having what like 5-7 revisions, he didn't really seem to feel the pain you typically get from waxing such a sensitive area. As awful as it sounds, maybe he doesn't have feeling down there at all, which I would find more tolerable than him being in pain 24/7.

Either that, or he's on a very high dose of pain medication.

According to this article, a new study from the American College of Cardiology found " Transgender patients on hormones had 7x the risk of stroke, 6x the rist of hert attack." There's more, like increased risk of pulmonary embolism. Risks are increased for both males and females taking hormones meant for the opposite sex.

Transgender patients who undergo hormone therapy have a significantly increased risk of serious health problems, such as stroke, heart attack, and pulmonary embolism, according to a new study.

A new study presented at an American College of Cardiology conference found that transgender patients who take cross-sex hormones had an increased risk of dangerous blood clots that can create blockages in the brain, heart, and lungs, according to a press release. The study found the subjects had nearly seven times the risk of ischemic stroke, six times the risk of the most severe type of heart attack and nearly five times the risk of pulmonary embolism, compared to those with gender dysphoria who never used hormone therapy.

“It’s all about risks and benefits,” said Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed, a third-year resident at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania, and the study’s lead author. “Starting transitioning is a big part of a person’s life and helping them feel more themselves, but hormone replacement therapy also has a lot of side effects; it’s not a risk-free endeavor.”

This new study, which will be presented at the Annual Scientific Session Together With the World Congress of Cardiology in March, is the largest to date to examine the cardiovascular risks associated with hormone replacement therapy in people with gender dysphoria, a population that has not been well-researched.

The study retrospectively analyzed hospital records of more than 21,000 individuals with gender dysphoria, out of which 1,675 had undergone cross-sex hormone therapy. Male-to-female transgender patients often take estrogen to induce the appearance of female secondary sex characteristics, and female-to-male transgender patients frequently take testosterone to induce the appearance of male secondary sex characteristics.

Researchers said that both estrogen and testosterone are known to increase the clotting activity of blood, which could explain the increase in clotting-related cardiovascular events. Those taking hormone replacement therapy in the study also had higher rates of substance use disorder and hypothyroidism.

An ischemic stroke, for which patients in the study who had undergone hormone therapy were seven times more likely to experience, is a type of stroke that occurs when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel supplying blood to the brain, leading to a lack of blood flow and oxygen to brain tissue. This can cause damage to brain cells and result in various neurological symptoms, such as weakness or paralysis on one side of the body, speech difficulties, and vision problems.

Patients in the study who had undergone hormone treatment also had six times the increased risk of a serious type of heart attack known as ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), which occurs when there is a complete blockage of one of the major arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle. The interruption of blood flow to the heart can cause significant damage to the heart muscle, and if not treated promptly, can be life-threatening.

In the study, the transgender patients who underwent hormone therapy also had five times the increased risk of a pulmonary embolism – a blockage in one of the arteries in the lungs. This can lead to serious health complications, such as damage to the lungs and other organs, and even death.

The researchers suggested that medical and family history should be considered before starting hormone replacement therapy, and individuals considering this therapy should be informed of all the potential risks. They also recommended studying the potential long-term cardiovascular and other health effects of cross-sex hormones, as the use of these therapies becomes more common. The researchers noted that the study had limitations, such as not accounting for the duration of hormone replacement therapy or the age at which it was initiated, and further research was needed to inform clinical decisions.

Jaron isn't just stunted, he's retarded. I don't mean that in an insulting way, I mean that in the original usage.
Jazz Jennings is literally retarded and it's his parents' doing.
