I’m from neither of those countries, though I spent a few years in Russia. I really should stop caring, and the posters here have given me some good advice previously, I’m just addicted to the news (not msm but various sources and this thread). I just keep coming back like a sucker.

It's much harder when you've actually got skin in the game and care about one side or the other "winning" (for whatever reason), but even then if you start to feel fatigued by the constant flow of suffering/rage/etc, then you just need to stop looking at it, the same way you need to learn to stop picking at a wound that's scabbing over.

Yea nah I’m not doing that. I’ll probably get so upset I kill myself and end up being the first casualty of the war from my country. I’m going to free myself from this suffering somehow, even if it means pulling the plug on my internet.
