Anecdotally - a friend was describing some of the changes that have taken place at their workplace in the last year. Transpeople seem to have exponentially increased, though it's a tech company so that's not entirely unexpected.

The company apparently recently introduced a number of changes to the bathrooms across multiple floors of their building - they now have Mens, Womens and Gender-Neutral bathrooms. Possibly contrary to the law of the country it's in, the company has declared that transpeople are free to use the bathroom of their choice. MtF transpeople obviously, now use the women's bathrooms - this was after some internal pressure, as apparently the introduction of Gender Neutral wasn't good enough.

So, the MtF trans weren't using the gender neutral bathrooms - but the actual women now are. Apparently it's become a quickly unspoken rule among staff that the men stick to using the men's bathroom, the trannies use the women's bathrooms, and the women use the gender neutral bathroom. My friend tells me this now causing a great deal of tension and screeching from the transwomen.

Really just confirms to me that this is all ultimately about men wanting to follow women into the bathroom.

Honest to god, what did anyone with half a brain that wasn’t a troon expect to happen if the women (de-facto here) still got a restroom to themselves?

I imagine they'll attempt to either remove the gender-neutral bathrooms entirely, or rebrand them as "non-binary" as an underhanded way of getting actual women to stop using them exclusively.

Either way, it sounded horrific.

If it means I don't have to listen to a homunculus fap in the stall next to me then I would suddenly be a they/them from 9-5 everyday.
But then I'd also be looking for a job that wasn't infested with troons tbh. Thank god I don't work in tech - semper fi to the poor sane men and women that do.

I've heard this shit happening before, Troons screech their way into getting access to the womens room at work, only for the women to stop using it, on one occasion it was similar to this, where the women started using the individual disabled room instead, and on another the women started to leave work to use the bathroom at the Wendys across the street, and on that one the Troon was wondering if it was possible for the women to actually be punished for leaving to use a bathroom off the premises :cryblood:
I've heard of a couple of occasions where women have just flat out stated that if the Troon is allowed into the womens room they just wont use it at all, and everytime the Troons take to Reddit to seethe and cope about their powerlessness when it's obvious that what they really want is for women to be forced to use the room with them.

Any dads out there who began their transition before their kids were born?

TL;DR: How did you explain your transness to your kids that were born after you started T, and at what age?

Years before I came to terms with being trans, I wrestled with the idea of parenthood and acknowledged, out loud, that I would make a lousy mom, but a kickass dad.

Anyway, fast forward to today: I have an almost 8 yo step daughter and a 2.5 yo bio son that my wife carried thanks to SCIENCE! I've been on T for 5 years. Obviously my SD knows I'm trans (although she forgets sometimes, which is funny), but my son not so much.

I have a framed picture on the wall, one of very few pre-T pictures that I can stand to look at, of me at 25 holding a 36lb king salmon that I'd just caught. The cis male fishing boat captain is standing next to me. I love fishing, and I love the picture. My son used to look at pre-T me in the picture and say "That's Daddy!" But he didn't really have a concept of gender at the time and he's now starting to grasp it.

Today he looked at the picture and said "That's Mommy and Daddy!" I asked him who he thought was daddy and he pointed to the cis man. I said no, mommy's not in this picture, this is Daddy when I was younger. I looked a lot different then!"

He's already very loudly declared in a public pool changing room "Daddy! You don't have a pen*s!" (which he already knew 🤦‍♂️) much to my horror.

At what age did you start talking to your kids about the fact that you were trans? What did you say? I've already started saying things like "Not all boys have..." and "Not all girls have..." etc, so I feel like we've at least broached that topic, but I'm not sure where to go with the rest of it.
