Who would have thought after their premature grave dancing for our near death they would take so many L's in such a short time? First Keffails and his dumb sperging and now acting like reatrds over a game that is at least slightly pandering to the alphabet community. Guess the troonshine really rots the brain permanently.

The difference between this and say, ValidLs or Men of Reddit or what have you is these wokie accounts doing it directly engage because again, they're hoping to spark a reaction they can crybully over. The right wingers post screencaps, often with the names removed, instead.

If the streamer is a member of a company, and the company is based out of Japan, they need to get explicit permissions from a company before they can stream a game. They don't have fair use laws in Japan, so you can be sued to hell and back via their equivalent of piracy laws for 'making a profit off their IP without their permission'.

You'll see this shit with the major vTubing agencies out of Japan (Hololive, Nijisanji, and in this case VOMS, etc). Hololive, as an example, didn't seek a lot of these permissions in their early life and when one talent got mass reported to Capcom she had her channel nearly nuked.

This resulted in nearly 85% of Hololive's VODs getting nuked because they never got explicit permission from the game makers.

Nintendo is one of the worst. You have to pre-tell them ahead of time you intend to stream on a certain day, so you can't do shit on a whim. Your stream has to be public, so no member only streams. And with shit like Pokemon, you can only play the absolute latest one and only have a month or two window to play it before they revoke permissions. It's cancerous as fuck.

it's even worse if you play a game with mods of any kind, because you have to get permission from every person who contributed to the mods, or the individual mod contributor could sue you for the exact same reason.

This shit is dicey all over Japan, and it's not just with streamers. You see this shit in the cosplay and other anime communities all the time.

This 100%. For those outside vTuber sphere, Pikamee was seen as 100% a force of good. She was wholesome, really nice, and just generally seen as one of the most positive people in the hobby. This is galvanizing on a level you can't even begin to imagine.

Because this is maybe the first time that the actions of troons have directly resulted in the weebs losing something. In this case, one of the original VTubers which meant having a huge following.

I said in an earlier post that there still needed to be a 'Zoe Post' for the current powderkeg, but you could be right in that Hogwarts Legacy is the spark to that powderkeg because so many people are fucking angry over this game's existence and want anything and everything about it killed...but it WON'T DIE.

Which reminds me I need to buy a copy this weekend. Maybe the deluxe version. Gotta do my part!

Apparently the announcement from the agency dispels this narrative, though the timeline of events doesn't help. Also, because I have to see this sort of thing; this thread has a LOT of people who'd fit right in on Reddit or /v/, which would be a better place for them cause their contributions aren't worth the bandwidth it takes for it to process and post. Yes, I'm angry. You'd be too if you had to see a bunch of people who think they're being funny say the same things over and over.
