Someone on /vt/ mentioned that she had been the subject of a hate campaign from China (the Chinese vtuber demographic is massive but if you mention Taiwan they make your life hell), so they think this was deliberate and she's just going to a different network.

Took a quick look at Tieba (Chinese Reddit) and Bilibili and I don't see evidence of any hate campaign. Pikamee wasn't really well known in China, since China doesn't really follow EN VTubers outside of maybe the main HoloEN ones.

In the few threads commentating on Pikamee's graduation, most people are pissed off at trannies and the "white left" for cancelling her and harrassing other VTubers who play Hogwarts Legacy.

I had to experience this myself firsthand too, you're never safe from them. Even when I used to be tolerant to them years ago recently over the years my experiences and perception of them became an utter hate that I can't stand at this point.
