Looking at it from as neutral perspective as possible, with the chat logs it seemed like you were trying to intimidate that transgender person by giving subtle hints that you were going to call their work and out them.

Transgender people wouldn't want to give their ID to a stranger to prove that their transgender because their ID may not reflect their correct gender. If you cared about transgender issues, you would be aware of that.

While you may not have been asking for banking account information, you had a lot of red flags in your posts and messages that do warn of danger, and the fact that you mentioned credit card numbers and banking information after trying to find out the information of that person definitely wasn't acceptable behavior by any standards.

That person seemed more than willing to video chat with you to prove her(?) Identity, but you demanded more personal information such as demanding to see an ID.
