Here's a thing about this myth of sane trans people/old school trans people;

In the off-chance there's people watching who don't know shit about HP and wondering why she's not yet playing HL, let me explain, because I found this out when a friend started the game just the other day:

There used to be/still is, a website called PotterMore. Its essentially a Harry Potter fansite that had a few things. Questionnaire which decided what house you'd go into, another for the kind of wand you'd have, what kind of Patronus (spirit animal) you'd have, etc etc.

The game has some inter-connectivity with the website. So your character could look like your avatar from the website, you'd have the same wand, filed into the same house, etc etc.

So what she's doing right now is setting up all that before jumping into the game.

I really don't get this mindset. Usually when somebody says "so and so did (insert something ridiculous) to own the libs." it's to highlight the lengths people will go just to piss somebody off only to not get a reaction and get nothing out of it in return. Not only can people spend $60 on a decent game and get some good playability out of it, but it genuinely angers these people.

Since spending $60 dollars on Hogwarts Legacy actually DOES anger troons to the point where they have to jerk each other off in a thread on reddit about how evil and disgusting this person is for buying this game then, by definition, they're being owned. People live rent free in their heads by simply enjoying a game. They might as well say, "So and so spent $60 on a game they will most likely enjoy and make money off of to own the libs. We're totally not angry, but let's leave thousands of angry comments calling them a Nazi and a transphobe even if it doesn't affect anything haha lololol, transphobes owned." They then proceed to have a mental breakdown because a vtuber played a game they didn't like.

I generally would agree, but if you've seen the response they've been getting from this one and if you've seen the autism of the vtuber viewers before "won" is a strong word for it.
