General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Happy Birthday Nepou!

she gained a lot of subs this stream
so if she had any losses at all (i dont think troons even watch streams) they are insignificant compared to the gains she made just today
"If I can't get a girlfriend, I will BECOME THE GIRLFRIEND!" is in the same wheelhouse as Vtubers. Pretending to be the anime girl while watching a real woman play an anime girl on Twitch plays into that delussion. Para-social relationships with fake anime girls makes them feel more like an anime girl too.

Look, if you're just going to try and dab on vtuber fans, go to the other thread. We already ran off the trannies from this one. Try another one.
I stayed up till 5 am to catch thise live only to have to put up with 10 chapter of fucking my imortal at the end. Why does the yabbit hurt us?
You know, you can leave when it gets shitty. This is for the zoomers.

Well, Pippa finished the whole stream without breaking the "I'm not touching you" game. That's a pretty good win. If anyone has numbers in the morning , I'd be happy to see it.
I just wish that avoiding politics wasn't political nowadays. I like my politicos, don't get me wrong, but I don't ONLY like political streamers/tubers.

They got purged back in the Chris Chan arrest saga. Tenma was screaming about how crossdressers were mentally ill perverts.
I wonder what her actual wording was. Did she really mean people who crossdress in general, without deluding themselves into thinking they're actually the other sex, or was it just an ESL moment and she meant specifically trannies?

In a broad sense it doesn't really matter they would have taken offense to either

Looks like she gained about 4000 subs. Youtube super chats was $5225 alone and that doesn't include the boatload of membership gifts that were bought. She did well for buying the $60 game and $250 in Build-a-Bear merch. Profit off the haters is the best move. She did well not engaging with them and made a great stream. Her little intro was an unexpected funny start.

I think it’s pretty clear the awful Pippa situation made this thread pick up speed again. Wonder if that’ll end or it’ll stay like this.

i hope she doesn't join vshojo.
VOMS hasn't exactly done much for her, is there another company that would match her popularity?

I think Vshojo JP getting more bilingual talents would be best if they ever want to actually grow. Niji is leading the way with bilingual talents but Vshojo could actually make it a selling point, like how Nazuna has an official translator. Right now Vshojo JP has Kson who seems to be trending toward seiyuu content, she even had a stream where she was a png tuber instead of setting up the vtuber model, and Nazuna who still wants to be Rushia but at least has dedicated fans and is actually Japanese. Pikamee would fit in really well but the biggest hurdle would be the design. The isekai model wasn't a hit and if I was as insecure as a vtuber I might think that my popularity was from the model alone - maybe this is why she decided to not renew the contract...

Hololive's Mio/Fubu manga has a new chapter
I know that the scrolling arrows already indicate you should read from right to left but design wise I really like that they left a blank page on the right side. Have you ever tried pulling a door with a handle only to read the sign, "Push" after failing? A good door doesn't need a sign if it's intuitive and the blank page is more intuitive then the standard message of, "Read from right to left". Anyways, the manga is also good and I find myself reading like Mio or Fubu are voicing the lines.

Pippa doesn't like Hogwarts but she likes Hanamori who does like the game
