Watching this back Marty could be in some serious trouble. He keeps saying "He came here, he tresspassed" and he clearly says "Come here Cryax". The police have a solid case against Marty fucking with him for years then inviting him onto the property and the footage isn't clear enough to show it's self defense.

I would be more concerned about Cyrax returning with a knife. He's not the type to give up if he thinks he's losing.
Edit : If any one can talk to Marty, get him to turn the camera back on even if it's only to watch the front door. If shit goes bad he's going to want video of it not just audio. Camera pointed at the front door or the street if he doesn't want to be on cam is a bare minimum for safety if he's not leaving where 'rax knows he is.

I wonder what compelled Raxx to overcome his cowardice and actually try to fight Marty. Anyone else think someone pushed him to do this behind the scenes or did the goblin just not think this one through?

It can go either way. Remember that Marty made no explicit threats to Cyraxx on his trip here while Cyraxx has explicitly stated that he was going to injure Marty multiple times this past week alone. If the police get called, they'll likely take statements from both people, review the footage (which is grainy) and maybe either arrest the both of them, or warn both of them.

Luckily, Ohio passed a stand your ground law and you can argue that Marty's actions weren't disproportional to the threat, so he was under no obligation to retreat like in other states. Police can get probably get him on simple assault or disturbing the peace, but that would also require arresting Chance as well since Raxx was the tard who instigated things.

Also I doubt Sally can afford any thing that could come out as a law suit. She can easily get cops to probs file charges, but in the end, MBM has literal years of Raxx threatening him to support any notion he might have had to defend him self when a deranged goblin came at him. Between knife threats, gun threats, and hammer threats..and a camera tripod. Pretty easy for MBM to claim he thought Cyraxx was armed and all. I mean sure he trolls Raxx, but in a court of law, he isn't the one making death threats.

I saw this a bit during school with the short bus kids. They would try to fuck with normal people then run to teachers when they were about to get theirs.

I'm sure he has threatened rax in the past. And Marty would be considered a stalker renting a house next door so it's not that clear cut.

I had plans for tonight but now I'm engaged with the purest autism instead.

Remember that Sally likely still thinks the anthrax letter came from Marty, so she might be more willing to call the cops because she probably believes Marty is genuinely out to get her and Chance. It's been almost half an hour with no signs of police showing up though, so you might be right.
