With a hypothetically unlimited number of Girl Scout plugs available to us now, it might even prove difficult to choose what troops deserve your support. Thankfully, trans activist and legislative researcher Erin Reed has compiled a handy dandy thread of trans Girl Scouts who you can buy cookies from today.

One Girl Scout, Paige, is a trans girl who fled Texas, according to Reed. Paige’s cookie storesays that her troop is raising money for a camping trip, and a video on her page details that her goal is to sell 300 boxes. At the time of writing, Paige has sold 145 boxes; her favorites are the S’Mores, and her goal is to sell 300 boxes, if you need help deciding what to order.

Gabrielle, according to Reed, is 7 and a half years old, has been in Girl Scouts for over a year, and is saving for her first camping trip.

Other Girl Scouts are raising money to help their fellow peers. Lily, for example, is a member of an LGBTQ+-friendly troop, and is selling cookies to raise funds for three scouts’ dues, and to make camp more affordable for them.
Girl Scouts as an organization has long been on the side of trans kids. The group has had an explicitly trans-inclusive policy since at least 2011; CNN reported in 2015 that Girl Scouts’ guidance to including trans girls was made public four years ago, but only attracted controversy that year. Also in 2015, the organization’s Western Washington chapter rejected a $100,000 donation because the donor asked that the funds not be used to support trans Scouts; through an internet crowdfunding campaign in response, though, they raised at least $250,000.
