This is why Mike stopped talking to us, he let it out early that Boogie was flat broke. Boogie then sent him phone calls/voice mails/emails saying he was going to kill himself that that his mortal enemies knew his dirty little secret.

This is nearly a repeat of a few months ago on livestream where Boogie made a massive song and dance about saying something that will upset everyone and his hot take was "I just love being nice to people. I just love being kind to people and being nice and generous. I know you'll all hate me for this guys, but I just love being an amazing person and helping everyone and being awesome."

I'm still waiting for basically anyone to come forwards about Boogie being generous to them or meeting them in public and wanting to tell him how he's basically god. Maybe any of the dozens of PKA fans who came up to him during the "feud" to tell him that he was actually the good guy? Or the H3H3 fans who would come up to him and apologise to him on behalf of Ethan? Or maybe that H3H3 fan he randomly became best friends with because he stopped him in the street one day and diagnosed him with depression and planned on going on holiday with the guy?

It's just pure cope and probably one of the cringiest things Boogie does. His very obvious lies and exaggeration where he has to tell you repeatedly he's a good person. He can't show it with his actions, he has no one to back him up or agree that he is (outside his fanbase who think he's a good person because 'did you drink my mtn dew hahahahah'), so he just has to repeatedly shout it from the rooftop that he's a saint.

Dude can't decide what way he wants to play his financial issues. One second it's "Guys, I was uber rich. I paid 100k+ on sugar babies in just 2 years. I bought a house. I bought friends cars. I paid people's rents." and a million other claims as he sits there in a house filled with apparently hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of MTG cards and collectibles.... but then the next second its "Well guys, I didn't make as much as you guys THINK I made. In my entire time on Youtube I made like a 1 million and had to give half of that away in the divorce!"

Either he was the "ethical rich guy" he is crying about on Twitter constantly, or he was actually never rich and is basically a working class bro to avoid being criticised for his cringe capitalist takes. Can you just finally pick one Boogie? We've rocketed back and forth on this way too often.

As others have said, it is kinda suspicious Clum showed up here and needed to be told about things like Kiwifarms, Haberdasher, Frank Hassle, etc. If you were a professional documentarian who had specifically chosen Boogie to be the first in your new series of super amazing special documentaries to build your name, wouldn't you have done a huge amount of research first? Why come here to ask us questions about Boogie after you've finished filming the documentary? It's not like information on Boogie is even hard to find since his ego stops him from deleting a lot of the evidence because he just doesn't see it as that bad.

Really makes me lean even more towards the "This is a fluff piece, paid for by Boogie" argument because none of these things are even close to being unheard of parts of Boogie's overall lore but none of them are particularly good looking for Boogie.

Boogie has been building up a repertoire of dastardly acts of harassment and threats against both his detractors and allies, I can only imagine how Clum feels watching his documentary and work crumble to dust as he missed out checking an archive of Boogie's lies and most dastardly acts to begin with.

In pure Boogie fashion, he devours everything he comes across, both bad and good. Mr Clum, if you are reading this, it is never too late to pack it up and call it quits. Sometimes it is more brave to call it a day and go home than it is to keep going. But if you are going through with the documentary I suggest you pack it with everything that most here have suggested, if not then Godspeed.

Meeting Boogie is an experience that I hope effects you for the better, being able to sniff out a manipulator when you see one is an important skill for journalism, and being able to keep them talking is a skill that is important to pick up, as more often than not it will lead to their downfall.

Mr. Clum, despite the shitposting you get I have utmost respect for you for getting physically close to Boogie, I have no ill will towards your future in documenting and I wish you the best, Boogie being your first target, whilst most would call unwise, opens you up to the more "colorful" characters you will come across and help prepare you for it. Hi all, I'm a bit late to this but wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike Clum, I'm currently in production on a documentary regarding boogie2988.

The purpose of the documentary is to explore his life, as well as put him through a variety of challenges and unique situations to test his character and show people the "real" boogie.

Someone told me about the comment threads made about our short livestream as well as the project overall. So I came to check and made an account. I wasn't familiar with this website until now.

I would love to get your feedback and thoughts about boogie for the film, and perhaps we can even include some of you if you might be interested in being interviewed. We are still in production and releasing the film on YouTube in the summer.

Just to be clear, the film is not financed by boogie, but entirely by me. As some of you pointed out, I've been running successful businesses for the past 10 years and mostly in the content space (e-commerce, video services, etc.) I wanted to start a new venture that was purely for entertainment content and making premium long form content which I felt there was an online market for. We're working on a handful now, and one of them is Boogie2988 among other more prominent figures and topics. We did not pay Boogie to be involved nor is he paying us, this work is entirely separate from my production business Clum Creative.

Anyways... In the spirit of telling Boogie's story...
1) What is this group and what role does it play in Boogie's story?
