Yea cops only need to suspect you of a crime to arrest you for it, then its up to a judge whether or not to drop charges, but if cops really wanted they could probably arrest both of them for battery and let judge worry about who did what in self defense etc

Option 3 : Marty never spoke to the cops, never went to the station and is lying because he knows it will make the Wilkin's shit bricks.

Until we have a police report assume Marty is trolling because he's known to say or do whatever it takes to get Cyrax on his stream. He's made thousands of dollars off of this fight already and he would be stupid not to keep his audience watching the drama. "Cyrax is in jail" was bait for us and him and it got him the biggest stream he ever had.

Context matters.

Marty handled this perfectly, he rented a place so that Cyrax showed up to his place of residence. Then started a stream and did not instigate him directly in any way. From the moment Cyrax showed up he was the instigator. Then Cyrax throws a goblin adrenaline fueled sucker punch. From that moment on Marty is under assault, and can legally use proportional force to protect himself. He then gives him a light beating that one could argue is less than what was needed, and then allows him to leave instead of holding him by force.

There is zero legal recourse from Cyrax on this, had he called the cops and told them that Marty was instigating him from a rented AirBnb there could be a chance they would have forced him to leave on account of harassment. To make things worse he then goes on stream and does his "tough guy" act. Showing premeditation and lack of remorse. If Marty reports this Cyrax could see prison time.

Marty has a history of harassment towards the goblin going over years. He knew when he rented that location it was right next to the goblin hold. He could have rented several places and kept quiet about going to Akron if he wanted to avoid trouble. I don't like defending 'rax in this case but you fags are blind if you think Marty isn't going to get fucked equally if this goes to court. Justice is not fair and if they think they can get rid of Marty to stop Chance calling the cops or wellness checks every other night they will throw the book at him.
