Out of context the video is somewhat disturbing and I can see why anyone who doesn't follow Cryax would think this is awful, but if you have followed who Cyrax and know who Marty is and what lead up to this you would probably feel a lot different about it.
This has been going for years and there's so much context that everyone joining in is missing and to Cyrax followers it's likely frustrating to see people outside the following giving him any amount of sympathy and talking about this like some random forum member drove to Akron to beat on a lolcow for a video (which, to be fair, is what it comes off as).

The issue isn't violence, the issue is a loging. Most violent lolcow encounters are of their own doing and are part of a larger story like Ralph and Digibro fighting because they needed to go get the horse's things or boogie pulling a gun on Frank Hassle because he actually showed up after he threatened him online.

This is literally just some random guy showing up and egging him on into a fight. There is no build up or any deeper context. It's literally just a guy who wants to harrass him.
I remember null said in an interview something along the lines that it's fun to watch people fall over, however if you are running up to them and kicking them in the knees to get them to fall over then it's just sad. This seems like a case of the latter.
