I think the first perspective is more likely than the second (even though they’re not mutually exclusive since Salah can want control of the channel while also resenting the fact that he has to take a break from video games to keep her channel alive). Salah is a bit of a control freak himself with his moderation of her channel, immediate creation of the couples Vlog, and his determinations of who should be blocked. He actually thinks showing the desert is ‘content’ people will enjoy. He did the same thing when they were driving to the beach. Yeah she aint going. According to gulfnews (no idea if they're reputable) 2022 prices were 3000-4000kd which is 13.3k-17.7k Canadian. No way Chantal can afford that, even if she saved every spare penny from now until June.
