The rationale for Nora's "asexual" identity was already explored to an extent in her rape game. She grew up with the perception that people always need to put out for their partners, and that people who are uncomfortable are wrong or mentally ill, and this filled her first serious relationship with terrible sex with a dude she wasn't really into. Even though her intent is to criticize that, she ends up accidentally legitimizing it by going on to claim she's part of a sexual minority for feeling that way. She also simultaneously tries to blame toxic masculinity, which makes even less sense.

Nora simply doesn't want to believe that she's already exactly what she hates. She just exaggerates us/Randi/GamerGate/whoever pissed her off that day into a bunch of life-ruining harassers so she can feel better in comparison.
