Not a shock in the slightest. These people are parasites, always looking for the latest thing to latch onto. They want a feeling of power over people, and they do that by becoming jannies and doing shit like this. I remember years ago there was some twitter retard who kicked up a fuss about some dumb shit and i think the target apologized or something? They had a tweet chain of them in a euphoric state going "OMG OMG OMG OMG I CHANGED SOMETHING THIS FEELS AMAZING!!!!!". That has always stuck in my mind when shit like this pops up.

I'm more of a wario land 2 and 3 kinda guy. Wario land 1 is a pretty cool follow up to super mario world though. Wario land 4 is innovative but I spent all of my most recently playthrough just wishing I was playing Pizza Tower since it basically is just better then Wario Land 4 in every way

In all seriousness, there's a stretch during Gustavo's section that can make or break a P-rank run.
Mess up your movement when reaching the tomato, and it's back to the start. As for length, it might have something to do with the fact that Gustavo takes up about 75% of Gnome Forest's duration, compounded by Gustavo running slower than Peppino. The Pig City's about an even 50/50 split so it feels like it flows faster.

Gnome Forest really isn't that bad. That one part is tight, yeah. But it's not too difficult to pull off and the rest of the level is extremely generous with enemies. Refrigerator can eat my fucking ass though. It's by far the hardest level to P rank. Fuck snowman niggers, fuck ice emojis, and FUCK Santa. The entire god damn level is full of "that one part" technical segments that you have to play PERFECTLY to keep your combo. Its only saving grace is that you get a nice reprieve once you reach Satan's Choice. That part is super easy and you don't have to think or play well at all. Then lap 2 starts and you have to do the escape without it...

The strange part is I recognize that Wario Land 2, 3, 4 and even Shake It are ultimately better games with their own unique identities (especially 3 and Shake It, holy), and that 1 is filled with an offensive amount of backtracking. But coming fresh off from SML2 and having that fat jew as a boss, to then being the fat jew and shoulder bashing everyone for money with that goofy beep boop equivalent of tuba music, it just feels right, like you're playing the villain.
