Yup, that means they just cloned her drive. So she most likely didn't use the same password, they just got her browser files off the drive.

At this point she needs to reformat the drives to a factory install and reset every password and account.

It's soft policy not to ban sock accounts because it's mostly pointless. We ban socks on sight of a few people, but usually if you can avoid being retarded I will turn a blind eye to a new account if you're banned, especially if you waited a bit. However if you just start gloating that you're socking (i.e. Empressa) I will ban you. It's more about discouraging people from doing certain things that disrupt the site vs. actually trying to ban individuals when such a thing is impossible (we run a Tor hidden service).
