Graf is saying Protonmail is insecure because they complied with a Swiss court order to turn over IPs (which is something which was known to be possible before but outlined explicitly thereafter). i.e. they complied with the competent authorities and a person was identified because he chose not to use a VPN. Nothing about ProtonMail's encrypted content was able to be turned over.

I asked what Graf intended to do if he received a CA/US court order (he's CA, service is US) and his response was to tell me to go fuck myself. I assume he's planning on taking US court orders and just killing feds like the Doomguy until the US government gives up. That's literally the only way he'd be able to avoid doing the same.
