Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

So it's okay to live life knowing that you're at greater risk for death than others and to not live an enriching lifestyle?

"Greater risk of death" = discrimination and oppression of the medical patriarchy against those refusing to conform to arbitrary beauty standards.
"Enriching lifestyle" = social construct.

I think it's because it's very easy to talk about how being fat isn't a problem when you're young and it isn't killing you yet.
Talking about how proud you are of your body after your 3rd bypass when your knees have given out and you have to roll around on a rascal while the kids make fun of you? Little more difficult to maintain that ideological fervor. ;)
I think they still do once they've reached the point of no return, if only because that "activism" is all they have left.

They're basically female equivalent loveshies, they want the D from muscle-bound hunks but refuse to acknowledge that muscle-bound hunks don't want hamplanets and if they want long term relationships, their shitty attitudes won't help either

EDIT: They also don't understand that things that cater to them specifically are more expensive precisely because they require more resources AND will only be sold to a small segment of customers.

Same as they don't understand that when they pay for one seat, taking up two and expecting the other to be free is greedy as a pig.

Wasn't there a huge outcry of lardasses all around the globe when some fashion label (United Colors of Benetton or something?) announced they'd no longer produce sizes XXL and upwards due to their target market of athletic people?

It's been a few years ago and it made some waves, but I can't remember any details.
Though it was funny to see hamplanets all over the net go ballistic over being told "Nah, we want to sell our clothes to healthy slim people". Obviously, blobs whined as if it was a basic human right to have fitting clothes of a certain manifacturer...

"Skinny people aren't the experts on fat people's bodies!!"
? so where do people who earned (see: lost a shit ton of weight) fit into that equation exactly? It's like they absolutely cannot fathom people attempting to do something with their lives. They've completely written off anyone who can do it because they once tried dieting for a day and thought it was too hard.
If fat people were experts on fat bodies, there wouldn't be an obesity epidemic.

Yeah maybe it's not considered a legit SJ movement because, unlike your orientation / race, being fat is something you can change with some discipline and hard work 99% of the time. Quit whining and go on a diet, cow.

It's a bit more complicated than that. Fat is usually a symptom of a deeper problem, such as social anxiety. Eating is a very common way to relieve anxiety, or boredom. Others just have a messup relationship with food. They eat because they feel bad about themselves, and then they feel bad about themselves because they are fat. The similarities in symptoms of FAers and social anxiety is no coincidence.

Like drug addicts, FAers want relief from the social anxiety of their condition, but they're not willing to address the root cause of the problem: their food addictions. Far easier to demand the world to change to suit you, get butthurt when it doesn't happen, and run crying to your hugbox, which will shower you with adoration and cake. This is one of the things that really pisses me off about SocJus; the enablement of the mentally ill.

Just a little reminder that no matter what you do or how hard you work on yourself, being thin is never 'earned'.

This kind of "logic" really impresses me:
Some people will declare something a privilege, then state that (due to it being a privilege) you are not allowed of being proud of it and above all, that it isn't something you've earned.

It just blows my mind to what lengths some people are willing to go...

I would think that having such a surplus of food available that you can eat far more then your body actually needs, allowing you to build and maintain a massive body frame is a privilage. Of course I'm under 120 pounds so I don't know shit.

Considering the food issues in places like Africa, Venezuela and parts of India and SE Asia, the fact that we have convenience stores on every block is the epitome of privilege. Just don't tell any fat acceptance or SJW's that.

Ah yes the Ranch-lands.

In the Great Hidden Valley connecting to the Velveeta River.
