I'm not a legal expert here but I want to ask this question if it hasn't been asked before, Can the people affected by this data breach start a lolsuit on chudbuds for the damages and exposed data? I think the donos and payment history (this includes personal information, names, last numbers of cards, etc), passwords, and emails being leaked, and Claire basically choosing to disappear entirely, with no form of compensation or proper public statement (only on Guilded) on the hacking makes massive grounds for a lawsuit.

The security on there is fucking terrible and this is being handled in the worst way possible. It's not a lot of people, but it's still fucked. The fact Claire was dumb enough to download some random shit from an a-log is really fucking funny.

You'd have to prove the damages, pay lawyers out of pocket, prove it was criminally negligent, and even if by some miracle you won, it would be about as worthwhile as Null suing the mountain jew. Not to mention you'd just be drawing attention to yourself, the Streisand effect is a real bitch.
