If you want some Minecraft spergery on what JEI/Just Enough Items is, it's a mod that is basically a must-have for any modpack. It's a descendant of a mod called Too Many Items, which was the OG item lookup mod, then there was a new mod based on that idea called Not Enough Items, and JEI is basically a third generation of the "Google Search for Minecraft" mods.
It is a must-have since if you play a heavily modded version you will have a quintillion of various blocks, items, recipes, and methods of crafting, and JEI is there to help you with that. Which is probably why it was picked as the .jar to modify to add the malicious code. Every modpack has it, it's a must-have, and no one ever verifies if the .jar's in their modpacks are legit or not.

Yeah so basically, if anybody's curious, I was working with @chudbere, @Pit Viper Salesman, and @CatboyCumDump in order to write a thread on the Jamal family.

I distinctly remember Claire mentioning the Brave Browser's integrated password manager, which all you need to copy is to get the user profile's seed words, then you can sync it on any other computer and get all the password, bookmarks, search history, even cookies I believe.
