...aaand Germany has just won the award for most cucked nation on the planet, narrowly beating Canada.

At least now we know this whole "Western support for Ukraine" thing is coming to an end very soon. Ukraine became too much of a liability for the Americans and now they're throwing yet another "ally" to the wolves.

Edit: LMAO, the other thread is excited about "Russian war trophies" on eBay without realizing Ukrainians are selling off old Soviet trash to gullible westerners at a hundred times the markup.

As a polack i can confirm, everybody here - young and old, Right and Left, rural folks and city slickers - is completely buck broken when it comes to the war. Every-fucking-one spergs FUCKIN' PUTLER REEEEEEEEEEE at least twice a day. Commemoration or even discussion of Volhynian Genoicide is a big no-no even for most hardcore rightwingers (who fucking despised ukrainians before, but now cheer on them as much as the Left). If you dare to say something negative about Ukies (or just argue that they gonna lose) you are a russian spy/troll/agent that should be publicly hanged for heresy. Same people that in 2013 hated idea of few thousand rapefugees staying here see no problem with letting millions of Ukrainians immigrate (let's be honest, they will never go back because why would they lmao, government already treats them better than it ever did Poles themselves).

Personally, my favourite part about this is that Poles but especially PiS, ruling polish party, went from "evil chuds that bully judges and banned abortion and made no-go zones for gays, EU should put those filthy polishen schweinen in their place" to "heckin wholesome allies of Ukraine and example for Nato!!!!!!111!1!11" in a span of a week. Hell, even polish leftist media screeched at them less.

Before the war, city that I lived in had a big homelessness problem. Everytime someone raised that issue to a mayor or city council they were saying "Well we don't have any places for them to spare, but it's totally not our fault and we're doing everything we can, trust us fellow peasants". But when first ukrainian refugees came? Suddenly there is a ton of communal housing available, and they even turned local community centre to makeshift shelter. Really makes you :thunk:

Go check a /r/worldnews post about Russia and you'll see how pozzed it really is. Not only is Russia on the verge of collapse but they should give up everything AND pay reparations AND cede some land to Ukraine. Slava Ukraine etc. I know it's mostly bots and all that but when every single media source is explaining how much Ukraine is winning it creates the illusion that anything pro-Russia or grounded in reality is just fake news that should be discarded. I genuinely don't know how they're going to memory hole Ukraine.

With most western media, it will depend entirely on who the POTUS is when the defeat becomes undeniable.

Expect to see thousands of articles attacking the GOP for not being 110% supportive of the war effort and laying all the blame on them, same way the Media tried to blame Trump for Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Probably some whining about not sending Ukraine a hundred A-10s on day one or any other air support, because nasty “Super-NeoMAGAs” wouldn’t vote to send them.

Don’t expect any serious arguments about Zelensky throwing away troops into meat grinders or Ukies selling half the NATO equipment for a quick buck.

If there's anything that's going to keep Russia from winning this war, it's going to be stuff like this more so than NATO throwing all of their best equipment to be wasted by barely-trained Ukie conscripts.

People who are high enough in positions of military authority should also have enough knowledge of military history to know that needless inter-service rivalries and petty jealousies can very easily negatively affect the outcome of campaigns if not entire wars (see Japan from 1937-1945).

Well the US officials regularly have made trips to Georgia over the years. Then you had Bush in 2008 tell NATO to get Georgia membership. Then surprise surprise. Russia invaded. I guess they believe with Russias attention focused elsewhere, nows a good time to try and flip Georgia.
