The wearing (or not wearing, as the case may be) of wedding rings was already commented on by thread posters back in the very fateful month of August 2022:

That said, in the "18 Years of Marriage" stream being discussed at the time, it looks like Rekieta is indeed wearing a blue band which looks similar (if not the same) to the one being discussed as a substitute for the wedding ring on his left hand as well as another ring of some kind on his right hand. (Embed should start at a point to get a good look at Nick's hands, you get a decent look at Kayla's hands at 48:05)
@Not Who You Think I know you have gone through past streams with Kayla. Any idea if she wearing a ring in any of those?

Some images from around your timestamp. It appears that Kayla does not see the need to wear a wedding band on their 18th anniversary at Hedonism II. Imagine that.

A cursory glance at the streams that I'm more familiar with show she doesn't wear a ring on either hand.

Pictures from the election night stream where Kayla is showing Nick other women's boobs (doesn't know she flashed the camera because she's distracted with her drink):

Looking further back it seems that there was a time when she did wear it on her left hand (2019, happier days). Looks to be a similar style as Nick, but pink:

So it appears that Kayla used to wear the ring, but no so much anymore. Make of that what you will.

That's fucking dumb. Rings are meant to be worn, what is even the significance of the ring if you keep it in a safe somewhere? The ring has significance BECAUSE you wear it every day, all the time.

I guess I can see wearing a silicone ring if you're operating some kind of heavy machinery that might cause your finger to get torn off, but surely you wouldn't wear any ring at all under those circumstances?

Personally, I'm glad I grew up in an era when only women wore wedding rings and any man who wore one was either a cuck or was gay. Men who earned their living from manual labour had no business wearing jewelry, and if your dad didn't wear one, why would you think it was appropriate to wear one?

One of the really unsafe things is working on cars and reaching around car batteries with a ring on. Or doing any kind of electrical work. Also anyone doing welding really needs to take the ring off. Among other things, you can get really badly burnt by a ring.
None of that applies to Nick of course.

What country or era did you grow up in?
Just about every married guy I know from the WW2 generation to now wears wedding bands. It's very much the norm for over 100 years.

As an anecdotal counterpoint neither my father nor my mother wore their wedding rings for a long time, granted that could be because they didn’t fit, but I don’t think my dad even knew where his was specifically.
I’m from the us

Grew up in the UK. I had my 40th wedding anniversary last year.

I didn't know any man who wore a wedding ring when I got married. It was just starting to be a thing here in the early 80's, but really only among the professional classes.

When did men start wearing wedding rings?

The 0331 in his name leads me to believe Camelot is a marine, which is the gayest thing a straight man can do. IDK what nicks excuse is. Maybe he's just an actual homo.
0331 is the marine MOS (job number) for machine gunner. I don't think there is a chance he was ever in the marines but I also don't think he just accidentally used that number. Its something you would flash or put in your name to get people to think you might have served without saying that you served. Stolen Valor with plausible deniability.

Nick gloating over Clair being taken down.

Ahh yes, posting nudes to a public locals chat is the same thing as having your website hacked and private images downloaded... Nick has gone full gigafaggot, I see... He essentially has his own little personal army of simps and hangers-on to attack and he doesn't even have the sense to use plausible deniability: "oh this is wrong, it's bad... " but maybe you should "JUST FUCKING LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE!!!!" He's gone full gunt at this point.

How is Rackets any different than Keffals at this point?

On her own YouTube channel, she also doesn't wear a ring. In this video

Interestingly, while I was archiving her channel, I found out she has a public playlist called "New Life". And she has a few very interesting videos on there.

It's most likely that she just clicked on them to watch later and YouTube just automatically adds it to the most recent playlist. But I do find it interesting that she was so interested to know what the detracting clip channel was doing.

Yeah, it's also about comfort. The silicone rings (good ones, not the cheapest ass shit on Amazon) are generally more comfortable than a metal ring because they can flex and move with you finger and adjacent fingers pressing.

The main reason I wear one is because I was stupid and wanted/got a titanium ring. Well, you can't resize titanium rings and my weight has changed quite a bit, even around the time I got married. It was too big nearly from day one. Don't want to buy a new expensive ring, so a $35 silicone ring is a much better choice. I also work with electricity so this prevents me from getting shocked through the ring or shorting something out with it.

Eh, I have to chime in on the Ring Question. I take My Precious off fairly frequently and even leave it off while at home or when at labor. It’s an heirloom affair and, plus, though I love rings, I can’t deal with the constant sensory input of rings, jewelry, belts, etc.

Wearing a ring or not doesn’t make a person less married. But with Nick and Kayla, it may mean something, it may not. It’s the other observations that pile up that make you think.

Not necessarily, my ancient Euronigger friend. Unless one gets a tungsten or titanium ring (or similar), precious metal rings are fairly soft. Men who do anything that may put that ring at risk for scratching (lifting weights, shooting, climbing, stuff like that) can use the silicone rings as something like a placeholder.

Or you can wear one because guys you're giving hand jobs (but not blow jobs because your giant Jew schnozz won't let you deep throat like you want to) to on the DL find it less uncomfortable.

Quite the playlist there.….I kissed a girl, dirty little secret, girlfriend, born this way, I don’t want to be in love, Don’t trust me, How do I say goodbye, et al

Normally innocuous items, but coupled with frequent trips to gay bars and swinger resorts and a household attitude of must have muh degenerate fun in the next 10 years while I can…..

It really makes one think about the meaning of the titles in the list and why they’re there.

Remembered this:

2022-12-19 Nick in Chat1.jpg

Then remembered this:

- Nick shared he stopped wearing underwear about a year ago...
Disgusting.
Stop copying the fashion sense of @theralph, Nick. It never ends well.

Would be funny if Kayla wanted Nick to go to the underwear party in a last-ditch effort to make him stop going commando in a way that his substance-impaired coomer brain could understand. Unlikely, but still funny.

She must have been too busy with all the fun activities wherever they were on vacation to have time to put on any rings.

On the other hand, not only did Nick have time to put on multiple rings, he also had time to write seething community posts about "business experts" (his scare quotes) who "have a lot of opinions on how I should be spending my time":

Nick, you don't suddenly get to insult others by calling them "business experts" when you unironically called yourself a social media businessman.
NOTE: If you click through to this post from August and scroll above it, it appears that in the hours and days leading up to that post the very helpful resident business experts from this thread were posting very helpful advice about how Nick should have been spending his time, because the experts resident here correctly predicted he was probably going to get banned from YT soon.
