Yeah, that's what I am thinking as well. The timing is just too weird. It would not surprise me if Lucas is using his moms account because he is afraid he might like or retweet something from his main account or one of the accounts we were already watching, and the backlash might start up again but worse (avg coombrained troon on twitter: "ZOMG keffuls sais shes in rehub but he isnt uWu").

Still don't believe for one bit this fucking faggot is in rehab. He is either scoring more drugs and getting high 24/7, or being permanently online without posting on his main accounts.

Assuming Luke has a true and honest drug addiction and could afford to go to a private rehab facility (no way he could get a bed so quickly in a public facility), the first thing a drug counselor is going to tell him is that he needs to stop streaming and delete Twitter indefinitely. I'm on the fence about whether he's addicted to drugs or just dabbles, but it's clear he needs to get fucked up in order to stream because he's awkward and insecure, and he's triggered by Twitter drama. If he's serious about getting clean, he'll avoid the things that trigger his desire to use until he's secure in his sobriety. For most addicts, getting clean means letting go of friends, avoiding certain neighborhoods, getting into a different line of work, etc. Luke doesn't have friends IRL and spends most of his time online, both because he's addicted to the Internet and it's how he makes his living... if he wants to get better, he needs to venture out and make friends with people he can interact with outside of his computer and figure out how to support himself offline. Overcoming an addiction takes a lot of work and you need to commit to change. Wanting to change isn't going to cut it... committing to change is how the unwell become well.

A couple of years back, similarly Twitter-addicted troon Jake Alley didn't post for two weeks. Turned out that his therapist had suggested he go offline for a bit, and he rules-lawyered that into 'No Twitter - but I'll just spend all my time on Discord instead'.

He's currently suspended from Twitter because he appears terrified that it he deletes the offending tweet he's admitting to a crime, and instead writing inconceivably idiotic plot recaps of Final Fantasy games on Tumblr. But that's besides the point, it's just funny. The point is that Lucas has dozens of alt accounts that we knew of, and I'm pretty sure that's only some of them. He had already been talking about a new Discord server, his mother's account has seen some unusual activity - there's plenty of ways he could maintain his biggest addiction without us knowing.

It would take a lot more to convince me Lucas went to rehab than just him not posting on his main Twitter accounts for a bit. I'd even believe he's offline of his own accord before believing he's in rehab.

I would say the biggest piece of evidence we have for this theory so far is last year Lucas stated on a stream that he had to call up his mom to lock down her Facebook account after he got old pictures of him doxxed. Presumably, he now has the log in info for the Facebook to keep an eye on her accounts. I also don't see why he wouldn't also take control of her other social media accounts when he decided to intervene and lock down her Facebook.
